It start off with, "Presenting the unexpected... new Ford Mustang!" You can tell this is an early one, because it asks us to check out it out at the World's Fair where it was first released to the public - "See the Mustang and ride Walt Disney's Magic Skyway at the Ford Motor Company Wonder Rotunda, New York World's Fair."

Bill says, Vehicle was purchased in 1983 just prior to my 16th birthday. It was factory equipped with the 289 D code which is on my engine stand. The vehicle currently has a 1989 5.0L with a B303 cam, DP 4 V with a Paxton Novi supercharger. I have also upgraded the braking system with Wilwood front disc and a dual bowl master cylinder.

David writes: "I bought this car from a man in Mustang Oklahoma in 2005. I took it to a body shop and had some minor dents removed and had it painted. It has an upgraded heavy duty T5 transmission, power windows, American Racing Nitro wheels, trunk carpet kit, engine dress up kit, lighted door sill plates, chrome alternator, chrome Monte Carlo bar, chrome export brace, high back reclining bucket seats, Ford Motorsport electronic ignition, Edelbrock aluminum performer intake, Flex-a-lite 6 blade radiator fan, Hooker headers, GT Grant custom steering wheel, Phantom 6 gauge instrument cluster, polished aluminum distributor, Ford racing dipstick, chrome Ford Motorsport valve covers, chrome shock tower caps, headlight grille ornaments, rocker panels, wheel well molding and many more little modifications." Also available for download is a 1024 by 768 pixel wallpaper and a 1500 by 1000 pixel wallpaper of this photo.

This owner purchased it in December 2007. It was purchased new by Ernest W Alexander in Coral, Florida. John is looking for more information about this Mustang. (16 photos of a 1965 Blue Mustang Hardtop) Carson Roberts found this 1965 Mustang hardtop in a shed with hay and chickens on it. Here's how it looked after washing it off. Not bad! Carson adds, "The floor pans were a little weak. It was leaking front and back windows seals. It had two rust spots in the floor; the left was because of brake fluid, and the right was because the heater core leaking. The guy I got it from had it for 12 years. The guy before him painted and fixed it up. The car looked good for it being a 25 footer paint job."

Greg tells us more, "I found this car in a local swap mag that comes out once a week. I traded a guy a 90 Honda Civic and $500.00 cash for this one of a kind classic. The car came with the 327 Chevy motor, rock crusher 4-speed transmission, and a 9-inch Ford rearend with 5.32 gears with a rearend coolant system. The car has side pipes, which are molded to the body, and a flip top gas fueler on the driver side back fender. Also, to finish off the unique custom features, the car came with Shelby tail lights and fog lights and a 66 model grille. I've been told that my car is a one of a kind which was built for racing, been told it was a California Special, heck I really don't know! I do know it's SPECIAL! If anyone has any ideas please please throw em at me. Also, I have a created a slide show to show start to finish of the car being restored. It had the big 289ci 271hp HiPo V8 engine and a manual transmission. This was taken outside the Patuxent River Naval Base while he was visiting his brother. Those look like dual redline tires! Look at the old cars in the background; not sure about the first one, second is a VW bug, third is a 65 LeMans or GTO.

This car show moves around the country each year, but in 2010 I was lucky enough to have it just down the street from me. It was tied with the 2010 Mustangs Northwest Roundup car show held the next day. I bet over 1000 Mustangs showed up.
