Sauterne Gold 1967 Mustang convertible owned by Denis Lépine from Montréal, Québec, Canada, Besides wearing its factory color, this Mustang has its original inline 6-cylinder 200ci 120hp engine. This was our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting April 10, 2011. Denis tells us more, "I bought the car in 1995. It was a rusted basket like all eastern Canada cars (dso B2). I took the time to restore it myself. Originally it was a 5 option car; power top, power steering, console, AM radio, and deluxe seatbelts. I add the following options; power brakes, tilt away, convenience control panel, headrest, exterior decor group, luggage rack, clock, AM/FM radio, right mirror, vanity mirror, hood/trunk/glove box and ashtray lights, open light reminder, remote trunk, chrome sill plate extensions, wire style hubcaps, wheel opening moldings, and I add fogs lights because I like the look."

Lime Gold 1967 Mustang fastback owned by Ty from Canada. It only has 32500 miles on the odometer. Ty tells us more,
"This is a Canadian car which has stayed in Ontario its whole life. The car is in complete original condition and has been painted only once. The body and undercarriage of the car has been preserved extremely well, with no rust at all. It has a 260 six cylinder that runs very well. It is hard to decide what to do with such a car being in such perfect condition."

Scott Rear of Pitt Meadows, BC, Canada sent us this photo of his Sunlit Gold 1968 Golden Nugget Special Mustang hardtop with its original 289ci 2V V8 engine. This original Golden Nugget Special was purchased from Perry Morrell Motors which used to be in Silverton Oregon. Scott says, In the process of restoring her now. I am looking for images of the
dash plaque that came with the car so I can reproduce one. The vinyl roof
has been removed in the pictures. 525 of these cars were built and sold in the Seattle area and came with 289 cubic inch 2V V8 engine, C4 automatic transmission, louvered hood, black stripes, black vinyl top, black interior, and featured unique golden plaques on the dashboard with the original owner's name engraved. Check out the ad I found in the January 26th, 1968, edition of the Seattle Times.

Here is a close-up of the dash plate as shown in the January 26th, 1968, edition of the Seattle Times. I think it was polished gold (no horizontal lines) with the title and owners name with the font shown. We don't know the size. Hopefully Scott can figure that out if there was a mark left on his dash.

This Lime Gold 1968 Mustang GT California Special with black vinyl roof was at the 2010 Mustang Roundup car show held in Bellevue, Washington. This GT/CS was ordered with the GT option which included dual exhaust with quad exhaust tips, argent slotted steel wheels with GT center caps, and heavy duty front and rear spring. All other standard 1968 GT options were not used including the GT gas cap which probably could be ordered separately.
