White 1977 Mustang Cobra II hatchback was a $535 options package in 1977 which came with stripes, Cobra lettering, vertical rear quarter window louvers, dual sport mirrors, rear opening hood scoop, BR70 or 195/R70 x 13 RWL tires, and brushed aluminum door trim inserts. This combination of white with blue stripes was also available in 1976 but new to 1977 was white with red and white with green stripes.

White 1977 Mustang Mach 1 hatchback with T-tops and the largest Mustang engine offered in the 1977, a 134hp (at 4000rpm), 5.0 liter (302ci), 2 barrel, V8. This was the first year for the twin-panel T-roof option which was only available on the hatchback models. All 1977 models with the T-roof had a wide black band that ran across the roof except for the Cobra II which was color-keyed with the body color.

This Cobra II has red stripes with white color combination which was new for 1977. The other new color combination for the Cobra II in 1977 was white with green stripes. These two color combinations joined the previous years colors of white with blue stripes, blue with white stripes, and black with gold stripes. This car has 62K miles on it and is original except for the wheels, tires, and radio.

This Polar White 1977 Mustang II Cobra II hatchback was at the 2010 Mustang car show in Port Angeles, Washington. It has blue over the top stripes, blue low side stripes (centered side stripes came out in the mid to late 1977 model year), original sport wheels, a white interior, and a 302ci 2V V8 engine under the hood.

Check out this awesome White 1978 Cobra II Mustang hatchback. It is our Attitude Of The Week for June, 5, 2009. Its owner says, "I bought the car in November 2008. The car had been in storage for many years. I put in a new correct 302ci long block and did other repairs from the car being in storage for so many years and not taken care of. William Sanseverino sent us pictures of his 1978 King Cobra. He says, "This is my 12th Mustang over the years, and my 5th Mustang II. My first II was traded in over 35 years ago. I've had 3 previous IIs in the past 5 years, but none have had what I call 'a hole in the roof', so I sold them searching for just the 'right' II. I found this T-Top 1978 King Cobra online last year (spring 2017). It had over 97,000 miles on it, had surface rust in places and probably needed a fair amount of mechanical work, but this was finally a King Cobra with T-tops AND it was in the unusual white with blue stripe color combination so I had to have it. The interior was all original and just needed to be cleaned up. At the time factoring in what nice Kings were going for without T-tops, I took a chance and bought. After some snafus with the restoration facility doing the body work (who farmed out the rebuilt 302 V8), I finally got it back on May 4, 2018. Other than bodywork, paint & stripes, everything is original."
