The 2017 Ecoboost Turbo has the 310hp 2.3L EcoBoost turbo 4-cylinder engine (10hp more than the standard 2017 Mustang V6 engine). Option packages include the Equipment Group 201A (Shaker Pro Audio System, driver's seat and sideview mirror memory feature, ambient lighting and blind spot information system), EcoBoost Performance Package (awesome exterior and performance upgrade), Enhanced Security Package, Interior and Wheel Package, Pony Package (only for the EcoBoost Premium), Premier Trim with Cloth Accent Group, and Wheel and Stripe Package.

The 2017 Mustang GT has the 435hp 5.0L V8 engine, bright exhaust tips, hood-vented air extractors, raised blade-style decklid spoiler, and special wheels on the outside. On the inside, metal dash trim and of course all the available upgraded options. Upgrade packages include the audio and blind spot Equipment Group, Black Accent Package, California Special, GT Performance Package, Interior & Wheel Package, and Premier Trim with Color Accent Group.

The 2017 Shelby GT350 has a 526hp 5.2L V8 under the hood. An options package is the GT350R which adds a large carbon fiber rear decklid spoiler, front splitters, red outlined stripes, red front grille badge, and interior deletes to make it lighter including no rear seats.

The 2017 Mustang GT/CS is an optional package for the GT which includes 19" ebony black painted machined aluminum wheels; unique performance front air splitter, unique black front grille, hood and side stripes; strut tower brace; black-painted raised blade-style rear decklid spoiler, sideview mirrors and hood-vented air extractors; GT/CS rear decklid badge; unique dark taillamp bezels; leather-trimmed seats with Miko suede cloth inserts and red stitching; diamond plate aluminum instrument panel trim; and premium carpeted front floor mats with red stitching.

The 2017 Shadow Black Edition is only offered in Europe and features black exterior accents on either the 5.0L GT or 2.3L EcoBoost Mustang. Other features include black wheels, stripes, window molding, emblems, and blacked-out grille. It is only available in the V8 fastback with either Platinum White, Triple Yellow, Race Red, or Grabber Blue paint.

The 2017 Blue Edition, offered only in Europe, is an options package for the 5.0L V8 GT or 2.3L 4-cylinder EcoBoost. It comes only in Grabber Blue exterior paint with dissolve-effect black racing stripes, black 19-inch wheels, heated and cooled seats, Sync 3 system with 8 inch touchscreen, and a premium audio system.

The 2017 Saleen Mustang comes in three levels: the 400hp normally aspirated White Label, the 715hp supercharged Yellow Label and Black Label. Both the White and Yellow label comes with the Saleen 302 Styling Package, while the Black Label comes with the Saleen 302 Signature Series aerodynamics. Other features include Saleen suspension, Saleen wheels and breaks, Saleen interior, and badging. New for 2017 is the Saleen Championship Commemorative Edition. 30 of these, 30 year anniversary of the SCCA championship wins, with a yellow, black, and white Saleen R.
