GT Options Package

The 2011 Mustang GT comes with the new all aluminum, 5.0 liter, double overhead cam, TiVCT, V8 rated at 412 horsepower and a 5.0 fender emblem to match. A performance package adds 19 inch alloy wheels and Brembo brakes. Also new to 2011 is a host of performance and handling improvements. Just as 2010 GT, the front grille is blackened and has fog lamps.

The 2011 Boss 302R Mustang is a non-street legal or track only car, limited to 50 units, a Ford racing option available for $79K, roll cage, safety harness, data acquisition system, race suspension, special tires, and side stripes. We don't think the color shown here is the new 2011 Yellow Blaze.

Shelby Mustang

The 2011 Shelby 500GT Mustang has a new 5.4L supercharged aluminum block V8, glass roof on the coupe, the new colors of Race Red and Ingot Silver, and a new SVT performance package which consists of a 3.73:1 rear axle, new 19"front - 20" rear painted forged Aluminum wheels, upgraded tires, upgraded springs and shocks, unique gear shift knob, spoiler with unique Gurney flap, and a unique set of Shelby over the top and side stripes. The Shelby 350-GT is back in 2011 in a limited special edition which includes the new Shelby front fascia, side skirts, GT350 graphics and hood scoop, solid rear quarter window panels, interior upgrades such as a t-column pods, and a supercharged version of the 2011, 5.0 liter, V8 engine with specially lettered Shelby GT350 valve covers. The 2011 Shelby GT350 celebrates the 45th anniversary of the first Shelby Mustang. The Shelby Super Snake is offered with performance upgrades including 650hp, 750hp, and 800hp versions. Other upgrades include: Ford Racing handling pack with dynamic adjustable dampers, lowering springs, tuned stabilizer bars, and front strut tower brace; Borla exhaust system; Shelby-designed Alcoa 20-inch wheels; short throw shifter; brake upgrades with cooling ducts; fiberglass hood with pins; badging; and optional two-tone interior and/or Shelby/Eibach handling pack.

The Mustang Club of America Special Edition V6 Mustang is new for 2011 and includes a dark stainless painted billet grille with tri-bar pony badge, front lower fascia mounted fog lamps, side tape stripe, decklid tape graphic, 18 x 8 inch sterling gray metallic painted aluminum wheels, premium carpeted front floor mats with embroidered pony logo, automatic headlamps, and rear decklid spoiler.

The 2011 California Special GT with chrome billet grille with body color surround and tri-bar offset pony badge, side stripes, lower fascia with fog lamps, 19 x 8.5 inch machined painted wheels, decklid California Special badge, door panel carbon inserts, front and rear leather seats with carbon inserts, premium carpeted front floor mats with embroidered pony logo, rear diffuser-style lower fascia, pedestal spoiler, decklid graphics, and side scoops.

50 special Mustang GT Pace Cars were built. One of which was used to pace the 2010 Daytona 500 race. They are painted Race Red with race decals and special red, white and blue stripes. Modifications from the stock GT include: special Ford Racing suspension kit, strut tower brace, and mufflers; special 19-inch wheels with an Brembo brakes; and a modified front valance.

The 2011 SMS Saleen by Steve Mark Saleen (SMS) Supercars comes in to models: a 400hp 302 4-valve V8 and a 440hp+ 302 supercharged V8. Both models come with the aerodynamic SMS body kit, custom, interior, special handling, and standard or wild exterior colors.

The 2011 Roush Mustang comes in several performance and options package levels. The Roush Sport includes the aerodynamic body kit, splitters, spoilers, billet grille, and graphics. Stage 1 adds performance wheels, tires, more graphics. Stage 2 adds upgraded handling. The RX5 adds a R2300 Roushcharger allowing the 5.0 liter V8 to put out 525 horsepower.

RTR Option Package

The dealer installed RTR option package is available on the GT and V6 Mustangs. The options package is designed by Vaughn Gittin Jr. Unique items include special front chin spoiler with splitter, side rockers, rear diffuser, aluminum rear decklid spoiler, special stripes, RTR badges inside and out, RTR floor mats, RTR 19x9.5-inch wheels, Falken FK452 performance tires, Ford Racing shocks, Ford Racing 1.5-inch lowering springs, upgraded rear sway bar, cross-drilled and slotted rotors, Ford racing tune, K&N air filter, and low flow mufflers.

Ford, DUB magazine, and Roush Industries come together to offer this DUB Limited Edition Mustang. DUB edition starts with a V6 Mustang coupe, convertible or glass top painted Black, Race Red, Ingot Silver, or Grabber Blue. Modifications include; Roush front fascia and splitter, Roush lowered suspension, 3.31 rear axle, quarter window covers, windshield banner, DUB stripe package, black interior with DUB embroidered into the headrests, unique 20-inch Pirelli wheels, and TIS tires. Ten all black all carbon fiber RTR-C versions are also available for a mere $135K.
