The 1999 SVT Cobra saw the redesigned features of the Mustang platform. The 4.6L engine, was altered to 320 horsepower. The 1999 Cobra received a new independent rear suspension. Another new 5-spoke 17-inch wheel was introduced. Yellow and blue paint were out, but green paint was in.
