Fastback

Convertible

The 2016 Mustang offers a range of powerful engines to suit different driving preferences. You can choose from a 300hp 3.7 liter V6, a 310hp 2.3 liter EcoBoost I4, a 435hp 5.0 liter V8 GT, or a 526hp 5.2 liter flat-plane crank V8 Shelby GT350. The V6 and GT models also have special upgrade packages, such as the V6 Pony Package that adds 18-inch wheels, a rear spoiler, LED fog lights and a six-way power driver seat, or the California Special GT that features unique exterior and interior accents, 19-inch ebony-painted wheels, a strut tower brace and hood and side stripes. The Shelby GT350 has a track-focused variant, the GT350R, that boasts carbon-fiber wheels, a larger front splitter, a rear wing and a stripped-down cabin. The GT model also has a retro touch with in-the-hood turn signals that resemble the ones in the louvered hood of the 1968 Mustang.

EcoBoost Turbo
The 2016 Ecoboost Turbo has the 310hp 2.3L EcoBoost turbo 4-cylinder engine, diamond-mesh aluminum dash panel, blade-style body colored rear decklid spoiler, and LED fog lamps to name a few. Available packages include an EcoBoost Performance package which adds front air splitter, unique 19" ebony-black painted wheels, updated dash panel with more gauges, and more. A 50 Years Appearance package is also available.

Mustang GT
The 2016 Mustang GT comes with the 5.0 liter, V8 engine; 5.0 fender emblem; GT rear badge, fog lamps, and several other features including unique wheels and handling/performance options. The GT Premium adds the four Selectable Drive Mode switches, heated and cooled front seats, leather-trimmed seats, aluminum pedals, ambient lighting, audio upgrade, dual zone temperature control, illuminated door sill plates, satin aluminum dash panel, and much more.

California Special
The 2016 Mustang GT/CS is an upgrade package to the Mustang GT which includes unique hood and side stripes, unique front grille with off-center tri-pony emblem, unique wheels, rear decklid California Special badge, dash badge, and engine badge to name a few.

Shelby Mustang
The 2016 Shelby GT350 has the all new 526hp, aluminum block, supercharged, 5.2L Flat Plane Crank V8, aluminum fenders and hood, unique wheels and performance tires, Brembo brakes, front and rear fascias, splitter, rockers, rear valance with integrated diffuser, and an offset GT350 snake badge on the grille. For $13K more you can get the GT350R package which upgrades the engine to a V9, improves the handling and performance, adds a carbon fiber rear wing and wheels, adds splitters, a red GT350 snake badge to the grille, and deletes heavy items such as the rear seat, stereo, and floor mats.

Cobra Jet
The 2016 Cobra Jet is limited to 50 with exterior paint colors of Deep Impact Blue or Oxford White. They are designed off the new 2016 Mustang V6 body with unique flared fenders, parachute, and Hoosier tires. The engine features a 5.0L V8 with 92.2mm bore, 92.7mm stroke, 9.5:1 compression ratio, 2.9L Whipple front-entry supercharger, forged steel crankshaft and a whole lot more. Horsepower is estimated a 707.

Saleen Mustang
The 2016 Saleen Mustang continues the performance tradition of the S302 normally aspirated White Label with Saleen 302 Styling Package, supercharged Yellow Label with Saleen 302 Styling Package, and the ultimate supercharged Black Label model with Saleen 302 Signature Series aerodynamics. Other Saleen features include Saleen suspension, Saleen wheels and brakes, Saleen interior, and Saleen badging and graphics.
