Body Styles (compare years, go back to 2010 summary information)
The 2010 Mustang has a new front and rear end, new colors, many interior options, a redesigned dash and gauges, and new wheels, just to name a few. The front grille is narrower and the back end is higher and smoother. The 2010 Mustang comes in two body styles (coupe and convertible), with both a 4.0L V6 and a 4.6L V8 GT engine, and each with a standard or premium options group. The largest changes to the options groups are a new GT grille and pony emblem, a 3.75 rear axle performance package, an addition of 19-inch wheels, color-matched mirrors, dual interior climate controls, a voice-activated navigation system, and a reverse camera system. Grabber Orange is gone but Grabber Blue is back. There are two new shades of red, Grabber Blue joins a new darker blue, and a new medium gray joins the silver, black and white from 2009.

GT Options Package
The 2010 Mustang GT comes standard with the 315 horsepower 4.6L V8, newly designed low profile rear decklid spoiler, and upgraded wheels. Also the outside the GT front end includes a wide lower grille, black dividers between the large round headlamps with integrated turn signals and the grille with fog lamps and black chrome pony emblem.
Mustang Shelby
The 2010 Shelby Mustang has a new look just as the 2010 Mustang V6 and GT. The front fascia continues to have its body colored panel between the headlamps and upper grille but is molded as a continuation of the hood as it is bend around the grille. The interior is also redesigned with racing striped leather seats, metal dash and steering wheel trim, new instrument gauges, and white shifter knob and color matched stitching. The 2010 Shelby GT-500 has the 540hp (at 6200rpm), 5.4 liter, 4 valve, intercooled, supercharged, V8 engine with the Ford Racing Power Pack and improved Tremec Twin-disc clutch 6-speed manual transmission.
Ford Racing Cobra Jet
The 2010 Mustang Cobra Jet is a limited run of 50, track-only, cars that follow are all white and built on the same production line that produces the 2010 Ford Mustang production car. Building on the track-only 2008 Mustang Cobra Jet, the 2010 version has new graphics, a choice between several 5.4L supercharged or normally aspirated V8 engines, adjustable front and rear shocks, manual steering and brakes, roll cage, competition shifter, Hoosier drag radials, Weld wheels, and a rear mounted battery with cut-off switch.
Saleen and SMS Mustang
Two 2010 Saleen Mustangs are available: one built by Saleen Performance Vehicles (sold by Steve Saleen in 2009) and the other SMS (Steve Mark Saleen) Supercars. The 2010 SMS 460 Mustang which has the new SMS 296 supercharger on a 4.6L V8 engine giving 470hp and 427 ft-lbs of torque. The SMS 460X model has the same supercharger on a specially built 5.0L V8 resulting in 655hp and 600ft-lbs of torque. Also new to 2010 is the SMS Red Butterfly Air Induction Hood, Front and side splitters, rear fascia and diffuser with rear wing, Watt's linkage suspension, SMS brakes, SMS performance striped seats, and leather hand-stitched dash and interior panels.
Roush Mustang
The 2010 Roush Mustang continues to be offered as several performance upgrade packages. One is the 427R which include Roush Front fascia with driving lamps, front chin splitter, side rocker splitters, rear valance, rear decklid spoiler, fender badges and rear decklid emblem, front windshield banner, and 427R striping kit. Additional options include: Roush exhaust, quarter window louvers, interior upgraded seats with suede, 20 inch cast chrome wheels and tire upgrade, short throw shifter with white knob, and illuminated door sill plates.
Yankees Custom Mustang
Only one 2010 Yankees custom Mustang was built for the New York Yankees organization and auctioned off. Normally we don't put, one-of-a-kind, custom Mustangs in this section but we did in this case because 60 of these Mustangs were offered in 2005.
Hurst Pace Car
The 2010 Hurst Mustang Pace Car is a limited edition built by the Hurst's Performance Center in Irvine, California. 50 units were built. They are all Performance White GT convertibles with white interiors and white tops. Other features include; gold stripes, custom Hurst supercharger yielding 435hp and 400 ft-lb of torque, 20-inch polished forged aluminum wheels with gold-painted center spokes, BF Goodrich's g-Force KDW tires, an Eibach suspension components, Hurst-tuned coil-over dampers and upgraded anti-roll bars, gold Hurst shift handle, Hurst embroidered seats and floor mats, and Hurst team signatures on the trunk.
