In 1994, Saleen transformed new standard V6 Mustangs and V8 Mustang GTs into high-performance vehicles. They introduced the V6-Sport models, which featured superchargers for enhanced power. The S-351 variants were created by replacing the original V6 and V8 engines with Saleen's proprietary 351ci V8 engines. Additionally, they manufactured a few SR models with a hefty 480hp supercharged engine, specifically designed for racing purposes. Interestingly, Ford dealerships had Saleen cars available in their inventory in 1994; these vehicles were not exclusively made-to-order for customers.
