Saleen Mustang
The 2000 Saleen Mustang came in two models: the 285hp S-281 and the 350hp supercharged S-281 S/C. Standard equipment were Racecraft springs, Bilstein N2 shocks and struts, urethane swaybar bushings, strut tower brace, 18x9 inch wheels up front, and 18x10 inch in the rear. Options included Alcon 13-inch brake rotors, twin gauge pod, sports bar and speedster package for the convertible, Recaro racing seats, 3.55 rear, and a carbon fiber hood. 2000 Mustang Saleen S-281 coupe painted in Sunburst Gold. This is a factory one, number 00-168. It has the upgraded chrome 18x9 wheels in the front and 18x10's in the rear. The tires are Pirelli P-Zero Rosso 265/35/18's in front and 285/35/18's in the rear. This Saleen also has some body mods; carbon fiber hood, vents in front fenders, billet grille, and Hella projector fog lights.

Performance Red 2000 Mustang Saleen S-281 convertible speedster with a black interior and black convertible top. It is Saleen factory serial number 314. Speedsters have a tonneau cover for the rear seat when the top is down.

2000, Speedlab Yellow, , convertible
2000 Saleen S-281SC convertible with a custom Saleen paint called Speedlab Yellow. This paint added another $6,000 to the base price of this Saleen. This Saleen has the supercharger on it's 4.6 liter engine. It is a factory Saleen - serial number 937.

2000, Black, , convertible
This is a 2000 Mustang Saleen S-281SC SuperCharged Speedster. It was a Saleen Factory conversion of a Mustang GT - serial number 443. It's a Speedster because it has the optional fiberglass tonneau cover over the rear seats.

2000, Silver, , convertible
Silver 2000 Mustang Saleen S281-SC supercharged speedster convertible with a black interior and a sports bar. This one has big 18-inch wheels. 10-inch wide in the rear and 9-inch wide up front. It is factory Saleen #775.

2000, Lizstick Red, , pillar/post
Lizstick Red 2000 Mustang Saleen S281-SC coupe. This Saleen was used in the "2 FAST 2 Furious" 2003 movie. Lizstick Red is a special order color offered with the Saleen modifications. It turns orange in direct sun. This one is Saleen ID number 00-0201. It has a supercharged engine, black interior, and big chrome Saleen wheels.
