The 2008 Mustang Saleen comes with five engine options: S281 (4.6L 335hp V8), S281-SC (4.6L 465hp Supercharged V8), H302 (4.9L 400hp V8), H302-SC (4.9L 580hp Supercharged V8), and a S302-E (4.9L 620hp extreme supercharged V8). Dark Candy Apple Red 2008 Mustang Saleen H302 coupe, with a Saleen 390hp (390ft-lb torque), 5.0 liter, high compression, 3V - V8 engine. This car started as a Mustang GT coupe deluxe in Dark Chandy Apple Red paint with a dark charcoal interior. Saleen body panels include a front fascia, side skirts, rear fascia, rear center body panel, rear wing, chin spoiler, aluminum shaker hood, and hood pins.

Black 2008 Mustang Saleen S281SC RF coupe. Limited to 100 units the Red Flag (RF) Saleen features exclusive red accents, Saleen's patented 465 HP twin-screw supercharger, and other Saleen performance parts. This one is 61 of 100. The Saleen RF is only available in two colors, Black ClearCoat and Alloy ClearCoat. Some of the custom Saleen features include: leather sport seats, 200 MPH speedometer, dash vents and bezels, steering wheel badge, performance driving pedals, close ratio shifter, shift knob, door sill plates, windshield graphic, fender badge, serialized engine bay plaque, serialized bumper number, championship wreath, and 'Eagle One' detail kit.

Performance White Mustang Saleen S281 AF coupe with a 465hp (at 5800rpm), 4.6 liter, 3 valve, Saleen supercharged V8 engine. The AF stands for American Flag because of is red, white, and blue accent stripes. The Saleen S281AF came in red, white, and blue; but only 8 cars of each color were built. This one has 20-inch Saleen wheels! Nine inch wide in the front and ten in the rear.

Vista Blue Mustang Saleen S281 American Flag coupe with a 465hp (at 5800rpm), 4.6 liter, 3 valve, Saleen supercharged, V8 engine. The American Flag (AF) Saleen model has special red, and white, and blue exterior colors. Twenty-four American Flag models where built: 8 with a base blue color, 8 in red, and 8 in white. This is one of eight Vista Blue special American Flag Saleens.

Performance White 2008 Mustang 420S Racecraft Saleen coupe owned by Bob Schuh from Clarkston, Michigan. It has a 4.6L V8 and a manual transmission. Bob adds, "I purchased it about a month ago [Nov 2012]. I drove it twice, and put it on stands for the winter. The car comes with 420hp stock, new Hot Cams, 3 1/2" supercharger pulley, and a program. It dynos at 501hp at the wheels. Rear end is 4.10 , Tires are street slicks 305 x 30 x 18. I was told it does 11.3 in 1/4 mile. Don't know till I try it."

The 2008 H302 Saleen has 7 custom body panels (front fascia, side skirts, rear fascia, center body panel, rear wing, chin spoiler, and aluminum shaker hood). This Saleen also has the black out hood, black side c stripe, and black deck lid. Saleen Heritage chrome alloy 19 x 9 inch five spoke wheels with performance tires keep this car tight to the road.

Torch Red 2008 Saleen S281 Supercharged American Flag coupe with a 456hp (at 5800rpm), 4.6 liter, 3 valve, Saleen Supercharged V8 engine. The Saleen patriot American Flag S281 special model was limited to 24 cars, 8 in each color: Red, White, and Blue with complementary over the top offset stripe and side stripe color. The Saleen American Flag comes with the standard S281 exterior options of Saleen custom injection molded TPO thermoplastic Olefin front and rear fascias, injection molded TPO side skirts and door cladding, front grille, integrated front turn signals, rear center body panel, a low body hugging rear spoiler and end caps, S281 super charged graphics and identification, AF Saleen windshield graphic, AF Saleen bumper insert, and AF serialized front bumper (S281 sequential series number).

Standard items include; Saleen's 465hp supercharged 281ci engine, short throw shifter, and 3.73 Max Grip rear axle, duck bill rear spoiler, and stinger style hood, specially tuned Racecraft suspension, Generation-II Watts-Link rear end, 19-inch diameter (9-inch wide in the front and 10-inch in the rear) 5-spoke Alloy wheels, and super sticky Pirelli Corsa tires.

Besides the Dan Gurney items, this Saleen has the 465hp Supercharged engine, 5-speed manual transmission, 19-inch wheels, 4-piston Saleen brakes, a two-tone black and blue interior, and a Shaker 500 sound system. This is factory Saleen serial number 08-032.

Silver 2008 Saleen SA-25 Sterling Edition S302E coupe with a black interior and 620 horsepower engine under the hood. This car is painted Sterling Silver - a Saleen special color. Only 25 of these were built in 2008. This is serial number 24. Do those wheel look huge? They are 20 inches in diameter!

This is a 2008 Mustang Racecraft 420S coupe. In 2008 Saleen merged with American Sunroof Corporation and produced this line of Mustangs with the Racecraft name. Although it is not officially a "Saleen", we are classifying it as one since it is part of Saleen and uses many Saleen parts/upgrades. This one is painted Dark Candy Apple Red with flat black stripes. It wears a set of Saleen silver 5-spoke 18x9 inch wheels. The Racecraft 420S is a lower cost (budget) supercharged Saleen. This one only cost $40,995. To keep the costs down, the upgrades are mainly kept to the powertrain and of course the Racecraft suspension. Check out the two-tone mirrors.

These Saleen 550 supercharged coupes can only be bought by Ford GT owners and are color matched to their GT. Think of this car as the $90K everyday car for the $175K Ford GT. The Saleen 550 is based on the 550hp, Saleen S281 Extreme supercharged engine and options group. This Gulf Heritage Blue Saleen 550 has Epic orange stripes. Other base body colors include Mark IV red, Tungsten, Midnight Blue, Speed Yellow, Mark II black, Centennial White, and Satin Silver.

This car also has Saleen 20 inch, 7 spoke wheels with upgraded brakes, Saleen suspension and handling upgrades, supercharged customize 4.6L V8 engine, and Saleen custom interior.

This is a Saleen factory photo of a Chromosome Silver 2012 Mustang Saleen SMS 25A concept coupe. It's a 25th anniversary edition. The SA-25 Sterling Edition S302E was the actual production version for 2008. The concept has a 720hp supercharged 5.0L aluminum block v8 engine with a butterfly induction system (see the three red valves in the hood scoop). It has LED taillights, carbon fiber side splitters, carbon fiber diffuser, special silver paint, and a 6-speed manual transmission.
