- Glad to see responses, I thought it may be a different hood as I've seen nothing on them being an option in 73 but I'm new to this so I may have just been seeing the wrong places. After seeing the engine mods available I've tossed the idea of all original but will retain and rebuild the original for such a time it's again needed. How to address the several small rust bumps beneath the ragtop advice will be well received and appreciated, as to what engine modifications car return what advantages in a med to high hp engine trans combos, suspension etc etc... :) Thank you & regards, K.
