View of the custom V8 engine of which I would guess is a 351ci. Hopefully the owner can give us more information on this amazing car. Originally the 1978 King Cobra came with the F-code, 302ci (5.0 liter), 2-barrel, V8 engine. Yes, that is a 351W in the engine bay, loaded with forged flat top pistons, forged H-beam connecting rods, high lift Comp Cams retrofit roller cam, and AFR 185cc aluminum heads with 2.02/1.6 valves. Behind that is a '93 Cobra T-5 5 speed manual transmission and an 8' rearend with Richmond 3.80 gears and an Auburn Pro posi differential. There is also a custom exhaust system with an H-pipe and side exits in front of the rear tires. These are carefully routed around the subframe connectors and traction bars built by Stumpy's Fabworks.
