Page 11 of the 1978 Ford Mustang promotional brochure shows some of the features of the 1978 introduced King Cobra and standard Cobra Mustang II. The Cobra II got a new stripe tape treatment mid-year with tri-color tape stripes, large "Cobra" block letters midlevel on the side and decklid spoiler
