BORN IN CALIFORNIA - A new California Special Mustang, to be designated the GT/CS, will make its public debut in Ford dealerships Friday, March 1. The new Mustang, design especially for California will be sold only in the California sales districts. The Ford assembly plant at San Jose will build the car. Features that will identify the Mustang GT/CS include horizontal taillights, a racing spoiler, rectangular fog lamps, a black-out front grille without ornamentation, competition-type hood latches, a fiberglass deck lid, and side scoops with bold stripe letters GT/CS.
