This dataplate is found on the rear edge of the driver's side door. It says D5 for the paint color. So it was originally Acapulco Blue (code D) with a blacked-out hood (the number 5 after the D).

• I bought the exact copy of this car in '69 from a Ford dealer in Rochester, New York off the showroom floor for $5000.00. In '72 I bought a bar on the ocean in Flagler County fl.where the salt air started to eat the body up. Not having the time or money to stop the rust and deterioration I sold it to a young man for $1500.00 in'74. I've been kicking my a-- ever since.
