This is the Rio Red, 1998 Steeda Mustang off the cover of the sales brochure. new to 1998 was the Steeda Mamba package which included a 340hp supercharger. Other upgrades shown here are the wheels, graphics, and rear wing. Other options include performance suspension and handling, exhaust, fuel pump, and interior features.

Only 10 of these Chrome Yellow 1998 Mustang Saleen SA-15 convertibles were built. This is a 15th Saleen Anniversary model, all of which came in yellow and convertibles. Not seen in this view is the wide black hood stripe with white outline. The yellow wheels and custom SA-15 interior is also standard on this special Saleen model. This SA-15 was at the 2010 Mustang Club of America Grand Nationals held outside of Seattle in Bellevue, Washington.

Check it out! This magazine ad shows a Rio Red 1998 Mustang V6 coupe. Its a Gift Horse ad! It goes on to say, "Ford choice now makes it easier than ever to get the must Mustang for your money." It lists all the standard options you can get for $16,495; 15-inch polished aluminum wheels, power 4-wheel disc brakes, Securlock passive anti-theft system, power decklid release windows and door locks, air conditioning, 80-watt premium sound AM/FM stereo with cassette, CD player, tilt steering wheel, remote keyless entry system, 3.8L 150-horsepower V6 engine, and a 5-speed manual transmission.

This is the cover of the 1998 Ford Mustang promotional booklet which contains 22 pages of photos and facts. New to 1998 were modifications to the engines to allow for more power; a GT Sports Appearance Group; and a V6 Sports Appearance Group. The interior was modified to include a clock in the stereo and a CD player on all models. The SVT Cobra also got new 17x8 inch alloy wheels but had its own special sales booklet and was therefore not included in this brochure.
