(5 photos of a 1989 Cabernet Red Mustang Convertible) Cabernet Red 1989 Mustang LX convertible has a 2.3L 4-cylinder engine and an automatic transmission. Scott (previous owner) told us,
"I traded an '80 Mustang hatchback (also featured on this site) for it in September of 2019. It has has a lot of restoration work done to it by the previous owner. It was originally Scarlet Red, but was repainted Cabernet Red and the lower body painted Titanium Silver. This was done to mimic the GTs of the era. The previous owner removed the luggage rack and third brake light for a cleaner look. He also added the chrome Cobra wheels and changed the seats from red cloth to white vinyl. Since I've had the car, I've made additional mechanical repairs and cosmetic upgrades. It's a very clean, sharp looking car that turns heads."
