"I picked this car up from the original owner in July 2010. The car is in mint and original condition. The car is powered by a 255 V8. The car did come with the 255 originally, but the engine grenaded in 1996 and was replaced with a rebuilt 255. This car is a west coast original, and is even equipped with its original windshield, the owners manuals, warranty cards, and all the service manuals. The carriage top is in excellent condition and the car is wearing 80% of its original red paint. Its a A/C delete car with cruise, power locks, tilt, premium sound system, and rear defogger."

Mustang had not offered a convertible since 1973, so this carriage roof option was offered. It has the base level 140ci, 2.3L, 2-bbl, 4-cylinder engine.

The Sports Option included wide wraparound bodyside molding with silver/gray stripe inserts, black window frames, rocker panel moldings, and a sports steering wheel.
