A no-cost, color-keyed front spoiler was also available.

This page of the 1977 Ford Mustang promotional brochure shows a Dark Emerald green base level hatchback. Ford called it a 3-door 2+2. The third door being the rear hatch lid and the 2+2 meaning two in the front seat and 2 in the back seat.
