(from page 8 of the 1970 Collection) Check out this 1970 Mustang fastback that Dominic Napolitano picked up! Dominic tells us more, "It has a 302 with 3-speed, but not sure if its factory. The car spent most of its life in Texas, but enough time in Michigan to develop a little cancer. I have most of the sheet metal to restore her. Its a Father-Son Project (mostly father, Son is 4). I have a 95 Lightning engine for it and shopping for a T5. Its definitely a 'barn find' - only gave a thousand for her. "

(from page 8 of the 1970 Collection) The Mustang rolls into the shop. Dominic checks what's under the paint in a few areas with an orbital sander.

(from page 9 of the 1970 Collection) Brilliant Effects Red 1970 Mustang fastback owned by Terry Byrne. It has the original 351ci engine and an automatic transmission. Terry tells how he got it, "In 1991 while working in a bodyshop, it was towed in wrecked. I bought it and restored it myself. I had a friend {the painter in the shop} spray it with 13 coats Spies Hecker Brilliant Effects Red. It has 4 wheel disc brakes, air conditioning, stainless steel exhaust, original window sticker, and Marti Report."

(from page 9 of the 1970 Collection) The paint has a lot of depth in this shot.

(from page 9 of the 1970 Collection) Competition Yellow 1970 Mustang Grande hardtop with a 1 barrel, 6 cylinder engine. The Grande option was only for the hardtop and consisted of a vinyl roof, plush interior with luxury foam bucket seats, deluxe two-spoke steering wheel, color-keyed racing mirrors (not on this car), full wheel covers, electric clock, bright exterior body moldings (only on the truck of this car), and dual outside paint stripes.

(from page 10 of the 1970 Collection) Red 1970 Mustang convertible owned by Werner from Germany. It has a 302ci V8 and an automatic transmission. Werner tells us, "I am the owner since 2005. The previous owner had the car 15 years in a dry garage and did not use it. The condition was really bad. I have renewed the interior, blasted underfloor, all lines and pipes, gas tank, overhauled engine, and done all the little repairs. Just recently I put some new parts on it. Now with new electronic ignition, Ford Racing spark plug wires, Monte Carlo bar, master cylinder, radiator expansion tank, grille below the front bumper, and two new Borla Pro XS Mufflers."
