(from page 21 of the 1967 Collection) Nightmist Blue 1967 Mustang GT hardtop owned by Dennis Brennan East Norriton, Pennsylvania. This GT has its original S-code 390ci V8 engine and a manual transmission. It's our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting September 7, 2014. Dennis tells us, "I am the third owner. Owner #2 bought it in 1969. It was a daily driver until late 70s. He then parked it in his barn until the late eighties. It then had a complete restoration; floors, panels, trunk, engine rebuild, and interior. Since then, it has only left the barn for a few shows. The second owner was a good friend of mine. He passed away unexpectedly five years ago. The Mustang has sat covered in the barn until I purchased it from his widow. Due to sitting so long, it has developed a few oil leaks which we plan to take care of shortly. Otherwise, it runs great and is a blast to drive."

(from page 31 of the 1967 Collection) Nice side view of Richard's 1967 Ski Country Special really showing off that special order Aspen Red paint. The other 3 colors of this promotion included Loveland Green, Brechenridge Yellow, and Winter Park Turquoise. This color actually started our paintref.com website. Before that site, no one knew what all four colors looked like. Even Frank, the owner of the other Aspen Red Ski Country Special car thought his car was re-painted the wrong color. After hours of looking through paint chip pages I found chips for all four colors under different years, makes, and models. Not wanting spend this time again on other special order paints, I created paintref.com.

(from page 36 of the 1967 Collection) This is a newspaper advertisement we found for a used 1967 Branded Special Mustang hardtop at Weigand Ford in the April 5th, 1968 edition of The Daily Telegram of Eau Claire, Wisconsin. The Branded Special consisted of a dealer added vinyl top with Branded emblem just behind the rear quarter window along with other dealer ordered options. They were options added to used 65-68 Mustang - in this case a V8 engine, automatic transmission, radio, special tires, and of course the vinyl roof. The Branded vinyl roof has a paisley pattern. Most paisley vinyl roofs were dark but had a gray or other dark color geometric pattern.
