Don't wait - order now! Optional - choice of V8 engines, new 2-way cruise-o-matic Drive. And all this for $2451.46. We are the first to show you this series of newspaper articles from the Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio area featuring a newly discovered 1967 Mustang Limited Edition called the "Mustang Blazer". We found many advertisements in local newspapers from mid November through mid December 1966. All of them featured women; therefore, we think this limited edition Mustang was designed more for women. This advertisement was placed by several dealerships: Grantsville Motor Service, Gratton Ford, Shaffer Ford, Kowell Ford, and Jim Beamer Ford in the November 11th edition of the Cumberland Evening Times of Cumberland, Maryland. The Blazer option was also on the Ford Galaxie 500.

The date of this ad may explain the use of a 1966 Mustang in the photos.

This is our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting July 12, 2015. It has it's original 289ci V8 engine and an automatic transmission. Tom says, "I bought it in 1980 in Anaheim, California. It is mostly original and unrestored. It does have fresh paint and I did rebuild the engine, but other than that, it is basically a survivor."

It has a black vinyl top and a black interior. Mark adds, "Nicely, but not fully restored. Very nice mustang in great condition. New paint job right down to the sheet metal. No body rust. Most interior components, body trim, engine components, suspension and exhaust are new. New tires and rims."

(4 photos of a 1967 Lime Gold Mustang Fastback) Lime Gold 1967 Mustang fastback owned by Ty from Canada. It only has 32500 miles on the odometer. Ty tells us more, "This is a Canadian car which has stayed in Ontario its whole life. The car is in complete original condition and has been painted only once. The body and undercarriage of the car has been preserved extremely well, with no rust at all. It has a 260 six cylinder that runs very well. It is hard to decide what to do with such a car being in such perfect condition."

This Shelby has it's 7-inch driving lights mounted close together in the front grille. Others have them mounted farther apart in end ends of the grille. It depended on the state's laws which were installed.

(2 photos of a 1967 Green Mustang Fastback) This 1967 Mustang fastback is owned by Dick Rathke from Oklahoma City. It has it's original 289ci V8 engine and an automatic transmission. It was sold new in Denver at Rosen Novak Auto on May 20, 1967. It has a special order paint from the factory. It was repainted about 30 years ago in the same shade, but in a metallic. Dick says that it came with an accent stripe that was never put on the car. Dick says that Marti has this car at one of 596 with special paint and this trim, but wonders how many were ordered in this shade of green.

The 1967 Shelby Mustang came in 10 colors, 9 of them where standard 1967 Mustang colors, but this was the one that was not. This is 1967 Thunderbird Charcoal Gray (paint code M1900) exterior paint which was also used on the 1967 Lincoln.

It seems to have the same Colt emblems as the 1966 and 1968 version - see the next photo. The car has a dealer emblem from Les McLane in York, Pennsylvania. A site visitor found this photo. (7 photos of a 1967 Bluebonnet Mustang Lone Star Limited Hardtop) This is a 1:64 scale 1967 Lone Star Limited Mustang model built by Greenlight in 2008. The light blue color is a match for the Texas state flower called the bluebonnet. The cars were a territorial special for Texas just as the High Country Special was for Denver and the California Special for California. All 175 Blue Bonnet Special Mustangs where hardtops, had the sprint options package, blue luxury interior, steel styled wheels, with a 200ci in-line six or 289ci V8, and had a gold Lone Star Limited fender badge.
