filter, 4AN NOS purge kit, ceramic coated timing cover, Ford Racing chrome 100amp alternator, Ford Racing chrome starter, Roush polished valve covers, and billet damper. On the dyno it generates 410hp without NOS and 514ph with NOS.

Under the hood is an A-code 289ci, 4-barrel, V8 engine. Mike added a K&N Air Filter, and it has a vintage correct Shelby Intake with dual quad set up (Carter's).

That is the 289ci High Performance V8 engine. Most of the 1965 "carry-over" Shelbys had the black painted engine like this one. The special Shelby VIN plate can be seen off to the right on the inner edge of the fender.
