(from page 7 of the 1965 Collection) The center cap of the steering wheel has no Mustang letters.

(from page 7 of the 1965 Collection) Check out the metric speedometer. It's marked out in km/hr instead of mile/hr. The ignition switch in the bottom of the photo is not used. A steering column locking version is installed below it on the steering column.

(from page 7 of the 1965 Collection) The stock ignition switch on the 1965 Mustang wasn't good enough for the German market. This ignition switch was added to the steering column. Wiring was routed to it. It had an additional position called "Garage" - which the shown switch is currently in. This position locked the steering column and didn't allow the steering wheel to rotate. Check out the stop position? It's called "Halt". The key says "Taunus". Taunus was a 4-door Ford family car sold in Germany. I wonder if the ignition switch was from the Taunus? The lock is made by Neiman.
