Starting in 1997, Roush started to do the conversions themselves. This Roush is owned by Jose Valverde and is our Attitude Of The Week starting December 25th, 2018. The Stage 1 offered mainly appearance upgrades but this one received additional upgrades: chip upgrade, performance gauges inside, bored engine, ring and crank upgrades, billet rod upgrades, and performance headers and valve job.

I had the entire vehicle repainted in its original color Torch Red, and new white stripes."

Maureen tells us, "I have been hooked on Mustangs since the age of 10 when I saw a Grabber Blue Mach 1 parked in a driveway. I bought my first Mustang when I was 43, a V6 auto that I drove (summer only) for 5 years. My dream (since age 10) was to have a true Mustang muscle car. In 2009 I finally bought it. This brand new 2008 Roush Stage 3 Mustang. It's Roush supercharged and produces 430 horsepower with 400 lb. foot of torque. It is number 106 of 114 Stage 3s produced in 2008 and is one of only 12 Stage 3s built for 2008 in Torch Red with white rally
stripes. I keep it spotless with several Meguiar's car products. The Stage 3 is nicknamed Roush's 'street legal race car.' This car commands attention where ever it goes or is parked. I attend local car cruises and shows with it during the summer. It's not the last Mustang I will ever own, but it will be with me for a long time. My sights are set on my next Mustang, a Boss 302, that will have a place in my garage right next to my awesome Roush!"
