Options include 3.55 rear gears, Speedster package, chrome wheel upgrade, and a supercharger. This is saleen serial number 26. You can just make out the 26 numbers on the driver's side bumper top.

(from page 7 of the 1998 Collection) Black 1998 Mustang Saleen S-281 coupe serial number 98-0072. This one was Saleen factory modified from a Mustang GT. It has the Saleen body kit and graphics as well as a 4.6L engine with a supercharger added. The 1998 S-281 didn't come from the Saleen with a supercharger. Only the Saleen S-351, SR, and SA-15 came with the supercharger in 1998.

(from page 6 of the 2000 Collection) This is a 2000 Mustang Saleen S-281SC SuperCharged Speedster. It was a Saleen Factory conversion of a Mustang GT - serial number 443. It's a Speedster because it has the optional fiberglass tonneau cover over the rear seats.

It is a real factory Saleen ID number 134. It has Gunmetal 18x9 and 18x10 inch Saleen wheels fitted with Nitto NT01 Tires - 275 in the front and 315 in the rear.

(from page 2 of the 2002 Collection) Black 2002 Mustang Saleen S281-SC coupe owned by Gerardo Gallegos from Corpus Christi, Texas. It has a supercharged 281ci V8 engine with a manual transmission. Gerardo tells us, "I bought the car from my sister. She bought it with 40 miles on the clock and put in 11,000 miles on it in a 1.5 years. I bought it in December 2004 and had it ever since. It's all stock has the Mach 1000 stereo system upgraded wheels 18x10 in the rear upgraded rotors and Saleen calipers. I mainly use it for car shows, cruise nights, and on nice sunny days. I've only driven the car once in the rain, I was caught coming from a car show."
