We caught up with this gold 1965 Mustang hardtop again at the 2010 Uftring Ford car show. The rear tires on this car stick out way past the fenders. This is the second year I've been to this show and the second time it was overcast and about to rain.

We caught up with this Emberglow 1966 Mustang GT convertible at the Uftring Ford show in East Peoria at the end of the summer. I wanted to get shots of the rear end of the car with it's GT options. For some reason, I didn't walk all way around the car at the Bloomington show. The GT options on the rear include the GT lettering on the gas cap and cutouts in the rear valance panel for chrome exhaust tips.

In the trunk is an old polyglas double-redline tire mounted on a nice looking styled steel wheel.

Have you ever seen a chopped 1966 Mustang hardtop? I haven't until I found this one at the 2010 Mustang and Ford car show at Uftring Ford in East Peoria, Illinois. Check out the tiny rear quarter windows. This car has a huge blown engine in it too!

Here is a close-up of the GT emblem and MUSTANG letters on on the front fender. I bet it's hard to keep all those letters straight when mounting them individually.

Looks like a dual carb V8 engine. It has manual steering and manual brakes!

(from page 45 of the 1966 Collection)
The interior is black in color. It has an aftermarket wood steering wheel. Check out the cool foot-print gas pedal! Awesome. I haven't seen these in years!

We found this Lime Gold 1967 Mustang GTA hardtop the next year at the 2010 Uftring show. This time the weather was a bit better. It was overcast, but at least it wasn't raining.

Here is a close-up of the GTA emblem on the lower front fender. The "A" is for the automatic transmission.
