This is one of the first 100 production Mustangs built in the San Jose plant! The door data tag says it was scheduled for build on July 13th 1964 and the serial build number in the VIN is less than 100. Mary Combs of Centralia Washington owns this beautifully restored Prairie Bronze 1964 Mustang convertible with a 289ci V8 under the hood. It was in terrible condition when Mary got the car in 2005. See the last set of photos for some of the restoration which used all original parts. We photographed Mary's car at the 2010 MCA Grand Nationals held in Bellevue, Washington.

The inside sports a nice full center column, automatic transmission shifter, AM radio and Palomino vinyl with palomino trim (trim code 89). The door data tag on this car reads 76A P 89 13G 72 1 6 (convertible, Prairie Bronze, Palomino interior, July 13th assembly date, ordered in San Jose area, 3.00:1 rear axle ratio, automatic transmission).

Custom Rescue Green 1966 Mustang hardtop with custom wheels, front air dam, and engine. Rescue Green is a 2007 special order Chrysler Jeep color which later became a more popular standard color. Either you love it or hate it. This car was in the modified section of the 2010 Mustang Roundup car show in Bellevue, Washington.

Here is the "Dukes of Hazzard", 2005 movie car at the 2010 Mustang Roundup car show in Bellevue, Washington. It is a 1967 Mustang fastback cloned into a GT500. Look back to the first photo of this car in California to see the dirt on the side 23 is the same, movie prop magic.

Here is a photo I took of the basic interior. The dash is a bit washed out, the steering wheel is off, there are metal door panels, and a center console drink holder. The earlier picture of this interior from California shows the open radio dash hole being used as a bottled water holder.

This view shows the front seats, no back seats though. There is a battery in the back seat.
