(from page 34 of the 1968 Collection) This is an awesome shot. Michael's Mustang is ready and waiting to get out on the road.

(from page 37 of the 1968 Collection) Front grille extreme close-up.

(from page 53 of the 1968 Collection) Oh my, check out this 1968 Salt Lake City Rainbow of Colors Mustang hardtop in special order purple! The photo looks like a painting. Jayme owns this car and is getting ready for restoration. It has the optional J-code, 230hp, 302ci 4V V8 under the hood, GT side stripe, full wheel covers, parchment interior trim, C4 automatic transmission, and of course special purple paint. We have been looking for the purple paint that has been listed in ads for the Rainbow of Colors promotion, and this one shows it off. We think it is Ford special paint code WT9083 (see the door data tag photo for a non-faded view of this paint). This amazing car and great photo is our Attitude of the Week starting July 9th, 2022.

(from page 56 of the 1968 Collection) Here they are trying to move the car. Check out the rolling hills in the background.

(from page 56 of the 1968 Collection) There is Detective Lieutenant Frank Bullitt (played by Steve McQueen) driving in the Bullitt Mustang in the movie. Awesome shot!

(from page 3 of the 1969 Collection) Here is an earlier look at Peter's Poppy Green Mach 1 fastback. The door data tag for this car reads: 63C fastback sportsroof body style with deluxe interior, blank followed by 5 special paint with blacked out hood, 3AA black clarion knit and vinyl Mach 1 hi-back bucket seats, 10F assembled on the 19th of June, 1969, 71 ordered in the Los Angeles area, 3313 under special order (this number specifically to Russ Davis consisting of 10 Mustangs), S 3.50:1 rear axle ratio, and U automatic transmission.

(from page 4 of the 1969 Collection) Emmanuel takes his 1969 Boss 302 and 1967 Shelby to a car show in Paris, France.

(from page 4 of the 1969 Collection) Take a look at this vintage shot of John Farrace's 1969 Mustang fastback taken back in 1984 when the previous owner (shown) put it into storage. John says, "It pretty much looks the same today. I purchased the car from her grandson who received the car via her will." Here is the kicker... It was built at the San Jose plant under Los Angeles Ordering District under special order #0084 and the car has a special order paint WT6210. WT6120 is a bright yellow paint, in fact, it is the same paint that Caterpillar Inc. uses on it's earth moving equipment. John plans to send more photos when his restoration is complete.

(from page 5 of the 1969 Collection) An incredible close-up of the hood scoop on a blackout hood of a Silver Jade 1969 Mustang Mach 1 fastback. The 427 indicates that there is a Ford Galaxy 427 under the hood.

(from page 8 of the 1969 Collection) This is an awesome shot.

(from page 14 of the 1969 Collection) Close-up view of the functional front brake cooling air scoop.

(from page 27 of the 1969 Collection) This is a cool shot. The exhaust pipes are routed to exit together out the center of the rear. This car has a power antenna.

(from page 5 of the 1970 Collection) Grabber Orange 1970 Mach I Mustang with the Super Cobra Jet 360hp (at 5400rpm), 428 cubic inch, V8 engine with Ram Air induction. This was the first Mustang production year of the Grabber Orange color, the Shelby Mustangs used this color for the first time a year earlier. Unlike most 1970 Mach I's, the hood air scoop is functional due to the Super Cobra Jet engine underneath.

(from page 12 of the 1970 Collection) Mark's Silver Metallic Blue 1970 Mustang convertible parked by some horses!

(from page 17 of the 1970 Collection) These rocker panels where a $16 option in 1970, these were designed specifically for the Mach 1.

It was starting to rain harder here, check out the rain drops hitting the pavement in the lower left corner of this shot.

(from page 37 of the 1970 Collection) Here is a cool shot of the left front headlamp and vents.

(from page 9 of the 1971 Collection) Close-up view of this custom Bright Lime 1971 Mustang convertible.
