Bobby purchased it and restored it for weekend drives and car shows. Bobby has a huge collection of Mustang IIs. Check them out.

It has the 2.8L 6 cylinder engine and an automatic transmission. Schmidt purchased his Mustang II in November 2014 in Chur (Switzerland). The Mustang was originally sold in Switzerland 1975.

The MPG Mustang II requires the 2.3L 4-cylinder engine with 3.18:1 rear axle ratio to get the highest gas mileage. This car is truly the most basic with no bodyside molding, fancy wheels, or color matched side mirrors. All 1976 models did come with fog lamps and chrome grille. Also shown here is a White 1976 Stallion optioned Mustang II coupe with black exterior accents and Stallion fender badge.

Ford called this the Mustang II MPG Hardtop because it came standard with the most fuel efficient engine (93 horsepower, 2.3 liter, 4 cylinder).
