(from page 8 of the 1998 Collection) Check out this cool 1998 Cobra Steeda Mustang in Chrome Yellow exterior paint (officially Steeda 98-011). This amazing car is owned by Jose Valverde and he photographed it with a Hot Wheels package making it look like a small special toy model. This photo is our Attitude Of The Week starting January 12, 2019. Jose also sends us images of the 1998 Steeda Mustang sales card.

(from page 8 of the 1998 Collection) Here is a cool view with a US flag mural in the background. Jose tells us, Steeda Autosports offered three Mustang packages in 1998; Mustang, Mamba, and Cobra. The first level Mustang offered suspension, exhaust, and naturally aspirated engine improvements for the 4.6 2V. The Mamba package added a Vortech blower and additional suspension improvements to the Mustang package. The Cobra leveraged the 4V platform as its canvas for Steeda's best performing vehicle in 1998.

(from page 8 of the 1998 Collection) Another nice view of Jose's 1998 Steeda Cobra Mustang. Jose adds, Steeda built 8 SVT Cobras out of the 15 serialized vehicles built that year with 98-011 being the last of the four Chrome Yellow Cobras. It has been a South Florida car all its life and is one of 709 Chrome Yellow Cobra coupes in 1998. The 98-011 Steeda build included: Steeda sport springs, heavy duty super and aluminum lower control arms, alloy steel strut tower and frame rail braces, adjustable rear anti sway bar, Tokico adjustable shock/struts, Vortech S-trim supercharger at 8psi, Pro M mass air flow sensor with custom K&N air filter, Steeda wing, wheels, Bassani exhaust system, 3.73 gears, Steeda Tri-ax Shifter with handle, and an aluminum driveshaft.
