Check out this beautiful custom 1979 Mustang in Grabber Blue exterior paint and tons of upgrades. It is our Attitude Of The Week starting April 27, 2019 and is owned by Ron Keith of Tennessee. He said it was his fathers and sat out side neglected for many years until he got a hold of it. Some of the features includes a 302 with Holley Sniper headers, Edelbrock 289 dual plan intake, 3 row radiator, Flowtech long gears, 17 inch Saleen replica wheels, Raceland coilovers, Raceland caster camber plates, Gripp subframe connectors, tubular rear control arms, urethane valance, Xennon front air dam, kicker 3 inch - 6x9 inch 10 speakers, Audioplanet 1500W mono block, reskinned seats, and Mercury cyclone hood scoop. Amazing!!!

I spotted this Pewter 1979 Mustang Indianapolis 500 Pace Car at the 2010 Mustang and Ford car show at Uftring Ford in East Peoria, Illinois. This is the first time I've seen one of these in person. The graphics on this car are pretty neat in person.

The side of the car says, "Official Pace Car, 53rd Annual Indianapolis 500 mile race May 27, 1979". Check out the four gray horses in front of the wording.

The hood is painted mostly flat black. Check out the huge "Mustang" letters on each side.

The engine has some modifications. The Turbo 4-cylinder or this V8 were available with the Pace Car option.
