It has a blacked out hood, Magnum 500 wheels, 351ci 4V V8 Cobra Jet engine, and is our Attitude Of The Week for the week starting October 2nd, 2011. It was a little overcast but the Gold Glow exterior paint really stood out.

3 of 5 mustang attitude3 of 5 mustang attitude3 of 5 mustang attitude3 of 5 mustang attitude3 of 5 mustang attitude (from page 6 of the 1977 Collection) This Polar White 1977 Mustang II Cobra II fastback is our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting September 29, 2013. This Cobra has a 305ci V8 engine and an automatic transmission. The owner says, "I have always been a Ford girl, but this baby gets quite the looks. I am restoring the car this winter, as needs new paint job. As soon as I got her I purchased a Marti Report and came to find out that it is a 1-of-88 with this trim package for the Cobra II for 1977! - Polar white exterior paint, white with Red interior trim colour, and it had only an AM radio that still works. It was built 09/03/1976, so it's an early Motortown conversion Cobra II. I'm always looking for info regarding the Motortown conversion process before Ford took the Cobra II package in-house; it's a special part of Cobra II history!"

5 of 5 mustang attitude5 of 5 mustang attitude5 of 5 mustang attitude5 of 5 mustang attitude5 of 5 mustang attitude (from page 6 of the 1977 Collection) Black 1977 Mustang II Cobra II hatchback owned by Mike from Elgin, Illinois, This is our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting September 22, 2013. It has a 302ci V8 and an automatic transmission. Mike tells us, "I graduated from high school in 1977 and the only two cars that I wanted for my first new car was a Cobra II or a Smokey and the Bandit Trans Am (black and gold of course!). My Dad wouldn't sign a loan for either one (despite our family's fondness for Fords) but he did decide to sign a loan for me to get a 1978 Chevette! Later in life I did buy a triple-black 2000 Mustang GT convertible, which I enjoyed for a number of years. When I saw this Cobra II on ebay three years ago, I threw in a low-ball bid that didn't meet the seller's reserve. I told my wife that we didn't have to worry about getting the car since it didn't meet the auction's reserve, so off to Alaska we went for vacation. Lo and behold, I got an email congratulating me on being the winning bidder for that 1977 Cobra II! I had to tell my wife during our vacation that the car I wasn't supposed to get was now ours, and that I had to coordinate its purchase and pickup from Arkansas. Fortunately a friend of mine lived near the seller, paid for my Cobra II and had a car trailer to pick it up and deliver it to my house, so the car was waiting for me when I got home. Upon seeing the car my wife told me I needed to decide if I was going to keep the Mustang II or a 2000 Corvette that we owned at the time. One look at the Cobra II and a rush of emotions from high school came back and the Corvette was promptly sold a few weeks later. I found that this Cobra II was first sold in Texas and then driven to California where the previous owner bought it and brought it back to Illinois for restoration. I've been working on completing the restoration he had started, and this past winter I tore out the interior, restored all of the panels, replaced the dash (it had been cut apart to mount different radios over the years), and repaired various other items to get it back on the road for the car show season. I purchased a Marti Report and came to find out that it is a 1-of-1 Cobra II for 1977! Not surprising that it's fairly well loaded - except for A/C (Really? Not ordered for an all-black car sold in Texas?) and it had only an AM radio. It was built 12/76, so it's an early 'Motortown conversion Cobra II .' I'm always looking for info regarding the Motortown conversion process before Ford took the Cobra II package in-house; it's a special part of Cobra II history!"

This was our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting December 12, 2010. Gord adds, "I bought this car in 1991. It was white with red interior. The first thing I did was paint it black and add the gold Corba II tape kit. The interior was also switched to black. In 2002 the hood scoop was muraled by Guy Frechette of Ingleside and from that we decided to scallop the car and add the fender murals."

In the future I will do a full restoration on this Cobra." Denis also owns a 1967 Mustang convertible that was our Attitude Of The Week back in April 2010.

This is our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting February 23, 2014. Wayne shares, "The car was purchased new from Cal Worthington Ford. We have owned it ever since. As you can tell I am a stock nut and did a lot of research before deciding to restore her in full original configuration. I found out that only 29 hatchbacks where painted color code 4M in 1985 - add to that the limited production of 'T-roof' cars and I am certain this is a one of vehicle. Like Bonnie and Clyde thanked Ford for such an awesome vehicle, I will have to do the same. This vehicle has never left us dead anywhere. At times her gallop was not what it should have been but she always made it home. "

This is our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting June 30, 2013. Josh tells us more, "I obtained this beautiful Mustang last year around September. I have currently invested a good amount on preventative maintenance and other needed areas. If I had a choice and I really don't, I would not sell it. The previous owner 'said' that the motor and trans were rebuilt. How rebuilt, I do not know but she idl's flawlessly and doesn't have any issues shifting. The chassis has 184k miles on it and has a bit of rust under door areas and under the trunk and that is it. NO rust No rot! The motor was rebuilt about 15-25k miles ago. The car is not a show car but is very clean looking and has minimal daily driving looks. She is parked every winter and is maintained. The only reason I am selling or TRADING is for a 4X4 pick up, extended cab 5.0L+. So I can have a yearly driver that I can use. Sad to say the truck I was using has been.... taken away. So I am kind of in need something. The car starts daily in all weather types and even when she is parked and hasn't started for 3 days in 20 degree weather. It has been very reliable. If you have any questions please feel free to email at the email address listed. Remember, she is not a show car. I am either looking for a truck in decent to equal condition trade or a local cash sale. FUN STUFF: Mach 1 style vented hood, Typhoon intake manifold 'upper & lower', new detent cable for transmission, tranny flush, power steering flush, BBK CAI, BBK shorty headers, under drive pulleys, smog delete, aftermarket catless pipe to a custom side pipe exhaust, rebuilt transmission, rebuilt motor 'no receipt, PO says so, gaskets look new and it purs just fine', Cobra tail lights, Performance automatic street/strip shift kit, front caster/camber, upper strut plates, KYB Shocks, battery power master, 140W alternator with smaller pulley, chassis stiffening bars, rear pan hard bars, new ball joint, new 190 degree Thermostat, distributor cap, 8mm wires, PVC, new heater core, Yukon Dura grip posi with 31 spline axle set up, side mounted oil pressure gauge and water temp gauge with fuel gauge 'fuel not hooked up', and a bunch of little things all around. NEEDS: rear main seal if you don't want a small oil leak, windshield cracked $195, fuel gauge connected whining 8.8"

You will never find a 91 Mustang as nice and detailed as this!"

The Audi only lasted a month, the seat was just a pain in the... I added Big Worm striping, painted up the brake calipers, and plan to tint the windows and add a spoiler. The I-4 turbo is very peppy at 310hp, certainly enough power. Who needs 435?"
