(from page 22 of the 1973 Collection) This is the yellow 1973 Mustang from the original Eleanor from the independent filmmaker H.B. "Toby" Halicki's 1974 film Gone in 60 Seconds. There were actually two Mustangs used in the film. One, this one was the "beauty" version which was used for up-close detail shots. The other was the "stunt" version which was fitted with a full roll cage along with many other safety and suspension modifications. The cars where really 1971 Mustangs fitted with 1973 trim. In the film, the main character stole 48 high end valuable cars in just days for a client. The most infamous would be this 1973 Mustang "Last of the Mustangs". It was considered important as it was the last of the Mustangs because the Mustang II arrives in 1974. That's Toby Halicki in the photo as he was the main character in the movie. This car is said to have been crushed after the movie according to Toby.

(from page 22 of the 1973 Collection) This is the 1973 (actually a 1971) Mustang "stunt" Eleanor from the original Toby Halicki's Gone in 60 Seconds movie. This car encountered two extensively damaging events during the movie. One, accidentally hitting a light pole while exiting the freeway. Two, a planned 128-foot jump near the end of the movie's long chase scene. This car is runnable and was used to promote the movie upon it's release.

I picked this off eBay propa cheap in the summer of 2010. I have'nt a clue about the history of it but she came to England in 1994 and I'm the 4th and last owner... ha! As far as I have'nt found anything wrong with her mechanically. She came with came with a full years M.O.T. [Ministry of Transport test?]. The only down side of her is a few parts of the bodywork and the paint job she's had in the past is pretty poor! - But I can't complain... I have a Stang!"

(from page 3 of the 1976 Collection) They have large license plates in England. I wonder what the tape on the lights is for?

(from page 5 of the 1985 Collection) Dark Slate Metallic 1985 Mustang fastback owned by Wayne De Leeuw from Lancaster, California. This is our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting February 23, 2014. Wayne shares, "The car was purchased new from Cal Worthington Ford. We have owned it ever since. As you can tell I am a stock nut and did a lot of research before deciding to restore her in full original configuration. I found out that only 29 hatchbacks where painted color code 4M in 1985 - add to that the limited production of 'T-roof' cars and I am certain this is a one of vehicle. Like Bonnie and Clyde thanked Ford for such an awesome vehicle, I will have to do the same. This vehicle has never left us dead anywhere. At times her gallop was not what it should have been but she always made it home. "

(from page 5 of the 1985 Collection) Another awesome shot of Wayne's Dark Slate Metallic 1985 Mustang fastback.

(from page 5 of the 1985 Collection) The interior is Sand Beige in color.

(from page 2 of the 1987 Collection) Metallic Gray 1987 Mustang fastback owned by Sam Benson from Ludington, Michigan. It has a 5.0L engine and a manual transmission. Sam tells us more, "The Mustang is fully stock except for the Gray Metallic paint and the black stripes. My Dad and I bought the car for $1,000. All it needed was a distributor and a power steering pump. Now it is a good looking, reliable, beast of a car."

This is our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting June 1, 2014. It has the 5.0L V8 and a manual transmission. Gary tells us more, "I have had this car now over two years. I just didn't like the looks of it and knew that could make it just like I want it and that's just what I did. Five grand later - not counting my labor. You will never find a 91 Mustang as nice and detailed as this!"
