(12 photos of a 2011 Red Candy Saleen SMS 302 4V Black Label Mustang Convertible) This Red Candy 2011 SMS 302 Mustang convertible was at the 2010 Mustang Club of America Grand Nationals held in Bellevue, Washington. This Mustang was modified by Steve Mark Saleen (SMS) Supercars. There are two versions the 302-4V with 400hp and a supercharged 302 with over 440hp. The supercharged 302 also has a carbon fiber front splitter. I believe this is the 302-4V version. Steve Saleen, a Black 2011 SMS 302 Mustang coupe, and
many other Saleen Mustangs were also at the show.

This is our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting June 10, 2012. Ken tells us, "I just purchased my 2012 Mustang Club of America (MCA) Edition V6 Premium Mustang five days ago and have been thoroughly excited about it the whole time. I have wanted a stick shift convertible for a long, long time and my better half graciously agreed (Thank You!). Being the beginning of the 2013 model year, availability of 2012 models are currently low, and I thought it was an interesting find. There was another customer that wanted the Yellow Blaze version of this car, but none were to be found, so he was going to paint it until he found out how much that would cost, then he backed out of the deal. That left me with what appears to be a low production volume car (2012 Race Red MCA edition convertible) of great value to me. I'm waiting for Ford to release actual 2012 production numbers just to satisfy my own curiosity. As a V6, it doesn't have the power of the V8, nor the
price tag or slightly lower mileage, either. (I've been getting around 24+ mpg this week.) But I did want some further uniqueness to the car. I wanted the sound of the V8, but not what to me are downsides that go with it. (Let's just say I'm a little more mature and not going to be as rash in my driving as I was in my twenties, so the extra power could only lead to trouble!) Thus the additional options - the body color hood scoop, and Roush air intake, Roush square-tip exhaust, and Roush style bar with light."

I finally found a great Mustang and made the jump to get it. She is only driven in summer as our winters are pretty messy. My girl named Angie (after the Rolling Stones song) is low mileage with about only 15K miles. I have upgraded the Stereo to a 7 inch screen Kenwood with the latest Metra kit which gives me touch screen controls for all the climate controls etc. Otherwise she is stock and perfect just the way she is!"

It has the 302ci (5.0L) V8 engine and a manual transmission. This one is is autographed by NASCAR Sprint cup driver Carl Edwards. Only 46 were built. This is number 44. Jim purchased it 4 months ago from a Ford dealer in Pennsylvania.
(8 photos of a 2012 Red Candy Mustang GT Convertible) This 2012 Mustang GT in Red Candy convertible exterior paint is owned by Tom Sedgwick and is our Attitude Of The Week starting September 29th, 2019. Tom says, his 2012 Mustang GT Premium started its life on the west coast of
South Florida (Longboat Key) and was also traded in there in April of
2017. It was transported to Mobile, AL in July 2017 where a potential
sale fell through. I noticed the vehicle in an Internet ad that same
month and purchased it with 36,420 on the odometer. This mustang has
the new Red Candy Metallic Tinted Clearcoat (paint code RZ) instead of
the phased out color code of U6. It currently sits in the garage with
48,000 miles on the odometer and is a daily driver. It is in original
condition except a Pedal Commander was installed for quicker throttle
response and LED lights were installed in the passenger compartment
center overhead fixture and in the trunk. The original wiper blades
were just replaced in May of 2019.

New to the 2013 GT500 is a performance package that increases the engine horsepower to 650 with 600 ft-lbs of torque. Its also the 20th anniversary of the Special Vehicle Team (SVT) so special anniversary lighted sill plates are included. This set of photos also shows off the new front grille design.
