Dark Candy Apple Red 2008 Racecraft 420S coupe, front end view. This one has the optional Racecraft Aero Package which are body modifications and includes the front and rear spoilers. Most of the hood is painted flat black. There is are 420S letters up by the windshield on the passenger side. We have better pictures of those letters in another picture in this set.

Under the hood is this supercharged SOCH 4.6L V8. It is rated at 420 horsepower and 400 foot-pounds of torque. Features include; 'Powerflash' performance calibration, 2-1/2 inch performance exhaust system, power pulleys and damper, Saleen Series VI integrated screw type supercharger, dual-stage water to air intercooler system, 39lb fuel injectors, 98mm mass airflow sensor, hi-flow inlet tube and air box cover, and a performance air filter.

The interior is Dark Charcoal in color. Looks very similar to a factory GT from this angle. There are some Racecraft details. Check out the next photos.

Here is a close-up of the standard equipment on a Racecraft 420S. The only options on this one (not shown) are the Racecraft Aero Package for $1000 and the black Racecraft graphics at no charge. I wonder if you can get a 420S without those two options?

These Saleen 550 supercharged coupes can only be bought by Ford GT owners and are color matched to their GT. Think of this car as the $90K everyday car for the $175K Ford GT. The Saleen 550 is based on the 550hp, Saleen S281 Extreme supercharged engine and options group. This Gulf Heritage Blue Saleen 550 has Epic orange stripes. Other base body colors include Mark IV red, Tungsten, Midnight Blue, Speed Yellow, Mark II black, Centennial White, and Satin Silver.

Left side view of a Gulf Heritage Blue 2008 Saleen 550 coupe. I park near a Midnight Blue 2008 Ford GT with white stripes and a large number 2 on the door and hood. On rainy days there is a Vista Blue Shelby GT parked in the same place with white over the top stripes and a large number 2 on each door. I guess matching daily driving cars for Ford GT owners are common.
