Grabber Orange 1970 Mustang Shelby GT350 fastback with a 300hp (at 5400rpm), 351 cubic inch, 4 barrel, V8 engine. The 1969/70 Shelby was the first Mustang to use Grabber Orange paint. This Shelby was also our featured Attitude Of The Week for December 23rd, 2007.

Gulfstream Aqua 1970 Mustang Shelby GT 350 fastback with gold stripes and a 300hp (at 5400rpm), 351 cubic inch, 4 barrel, Ram Air, V8 engine. This Glufstream Aqua color is a Shelby only color for 1970 since Shelby announced stopping Mustang Shelby production in 1969 and the remaining cars in work were finished in 1970 and sold as 1970 models even though they where essentially 1969 models.

Gulfstream Aqua 1970 Mustang Shelby GT 350 fastback, front end view with fog lamps new to 1969-70 and Lucas driving lights which continued to be used on the Shelby since 1968. Also new to the 1969-70 Shelby was the chrome strip which runs around the the outside of the flat black grille with offset cobra Shelby emblem. These black hood stripes differentiated the 1970 Shelbys from the 1969 models.

1970 Gulfstream Aqua Mustang Shelby GT 350 fastback, right rear view. The 1965 Thunderbird sequential tail lights where used on all Shelbys between 1968 and 1970. The gas cap is behind the spring mounted license plate, thus the instructions on how to mount the license plate on the rear license plate bracket. Also notice the center rectangular rear dual exhaust, this was also new to the 1969-70 Mustang Shelby.

Bright Yellow 1970 Mustang Shelby GT 500 fastback with a 335hp (at 5200rpm), 428 cubic inch, 4 barrel, Ram Air, Cobra Jet, V8 engine. This color was used from 1968 to 1971 and is also known as Grabber Yellow or Corporate Yellow. Corporate Yellow was a special order Mustang color for 1968, then Shelby used it as a standard color in 1969 and named it Bright Yellow or Grabber Yellow. So this is a Shelby carry over color from 1969. In 1970 Mustang made Corporate Yellow an official color but changed the name like Shelby to Grabber Yellow in 1971. A
