(6 photos of a 1969 Pastel Gray Mustang Shelby GT-350 Prototype Fastback) Before the production of the 1969 Mustang Shelby, Carrol Shelby's company created three experimental prototypes. This is one of those three 1969 Shelby Proto-types. It has a 351 Cleveland engine which was used to develop fuel injection and a Cougar Eliminator dash. Other options include air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, tilt steering wheel, Ram Air engine, and an automatic transmission.

(4 photos of a 1969 Wimbledon White Mustang Shelby GT-350 Fastback) Wimbledon White 1969 Mustang Shelby GT-350 with blue GT-350 side stripe, Shelby wheels, Shelby front end and grille, side scoops, and rear wing. I photographed this GT-350 at the 2010 Mustang Club of America Grand Nationals car show in Bellevue, Washington.

(7 photos of a 1969 Competition Orange Mustang Shelby GT-500 Fastback) Competition Orange 1969 Shelby GT500 Mustang at the 2010 Mustang Roundup car show in Tampa, Florida. Competition Orange was a special order color in 1969 and shares the same paint codes with 1964 Mustang Poppy Red which was later called Calypso Coral. There is also newer versions of Competition Orange including it on the 2012 Boss 302 Mustang.

(6 photos of a 1969 Bright Yellow Mustang Shelby GT-350 Fastback) This Bright Yellow 1969 Mustang Shelby GT-350 fastback was at the 2011 Mustang Roundup held in Bellevue, Washington. It was near the end of the second day, so many of the other cars have already left. This GT-350 has the Shelby 5 spoke 15 inch wheels from 1969, vented hood with hood pins, side scoops, rear spoiler/wing, and blacked out front grille.

(8 photos of a 1970 Grabber Orange Mustang Shelby GT-350 Fastback) Grabber Orange 1970 Mustang Shelby GT350 fastback with a 300hp (at 5400rpm), 351 cubic inch, 4 barrel, V8 engine. The 1969/70 Shelby was the first Mustang to use Grabber Orange paint. This Shelby was also our featured Attitude Of The Week for December 23rd, 2007.

(14 photos of a 1970 Candy Apple Red Mustang Shelby GT-500 Fastback) Candy Apple Red 1970 Mustang Shelby GT500 fastback with white side stripes, Shelby wheels, the 1970 Shelby signature dual black hood stripes, side scoops, and a 428ci 4-bbl Ram Air Cobra Jet V8 engine.

(9 photos of a 1970 Silver Jade Green Mustang Shelby GT-500 Convertible) Silver Jade Green 1970 Mustang Shelby GT-500 convertible with a 335hp (at 5200rpm), 428 cubic inch, 4 barrel, ram air, Cobra Jet V8 engine. This Shelby was ordered with a 428 Cobra Jet engine, C-6 automatic transmission, air conditioning, tilt-away steering wheel, AM/FM steering wheel, tinted glass, and power convertible top.

(13 photos of a 1970 Gulfstream Aqua Blue Mustang Shelby GT-350 Fastback) Gulfstream Aqua 1970 Mustang Shelby GT 350 fastback with gold stripes and a 300hp (at 5400rpm), 351 cubic inch, 4 barrel, Ram Air, V8 engine. This Glufstream Aqua color is a Shelby only color for 1970 since Shelby announced stopping Mustang Shelby production in 1969 and the remaining cars in work were finished in 1970 and sold as 1970 models even though they where essentially 1969 models.

(1 photo of a 1970 Bright Yellow Mustang Shelby GT-500 Fastback) Bright Yellow 1970 Mustang Shelby GT 500 fastback with a 335hp (at 5200rpm), 428 cubic inch, 4 barrel, Ram Air, Cobra Jet, V8 engine. This color was used from 1968 to 1971 and is also known as Grabber Yellow or Corporate Yellow. Corporate Yellow was a special order Mustang color for 1968, then Shelby used it as a standard color in 1969 and named it Bright Yellow or Grabber Yellow. So this is a Shelby carry over color from 1969. In 1970 Mustang made Corporate Yellow an official color but changed the name like Shelby to Grabber Yellow in 1971. A large desktop wallpaper is available for this view.

(8 photos of a 1970 Candy Apple Red Mustang Shelby GT-500 Fastback) Candyapple Red 1970 Mustang Shelby GT 500 fastback with a 335hp (at 5200rpm), 428 cubic inch, 4 barrel, Ram Air, Cobra Jet, V8 engine. The black hood stripes are unique to the 1970 Shelby; and therefore, differentiate it from the 1969 Shelby.

(5 photos of a 1970 Grabber Green Mustang Shelby GT-500 Coupe) Take a look at this Grabber Green 1970 Mustang Shelby GT-500 fastback with white side stripes. It has everything. It has a Ram Air 428 Cobra Jet engine with a 4-speed close-ratio transmission. Options include Traction Lok differential, visibility group, power front disk brakes, power steering, AM radio, factory tinted glass, Deluxe belts with warning light, and 5-spoke Magnum 500 wheels with Goodyear Polyglas GT F60 tires.

(5 photos of a 1970 Grabber Blue Mustang Shelby GT-350 Fastback) This is a Grabber Blue 1970 Mustang Shelby GT-350 fastback with black hood stripes. Grabber Blue was an awesome shade of sky blue that grabs anyone's attention. This one has a white interior and a manual transmission.

(8 photos of a 1970 Black Jade Green Mustang Shelby GT-350 Fastback) Black Jade 1970 Mustang Shelby GT-350 fastback with white Shelby rocker stripes and a black interior. You cannot see in this photo, but the hood has black stripes. Black Jade is a very dark shade of green.

(7 photos of a 1970 Acapulco Blue Mustang Shelby GT-500 Fastback) Acapulco Blue 1970 Mustang Shelby GT-500 fastback with white stripes and a black interior. This one has the big 428ci 335hp Cobra Jet V8 engine connected to a 4-speed manual transmission. Acapulco Blue was actually 1969 color, not a 1970 color. But... All 1970 Shelbys are really re-serialized 1969 Shelbys that where left over at the Shelby factory.

(13 photos of a 1970 Pastel Gray Mustang Shelby GT-350 Fastback) Pastel Gray 1970 Mustang Shelby GT-350 fastback with a red interior and and a 4-speed manual transmission. This GT350 has blue shelby stripes down each side and the black dual hood stripes. The dual black hood stripes are on all 1970 Shelbys. The paint code on this Shelby is 6 for Pastel Gray. Some people call it White.

(7 photos of a 2006 Black Mustang Shelby GT Hertz Coupe) This is a 2006 Mustang Shelby GT-H Hertz coupe. Like the original GT-350H from 1966, this GT-500H features black and gold paint and they were only available new to the Hertz car rental agency. This is number 469 of 500 produced in 2006. Shelby Motors in Las Vegas took the stock 4.6L 3V V8 from the GT coupe and added an extra 25hp and 10lb-ft of torque.

(6 photos of a 2006 Black Mustang Shelby GT Hertz Coupe) Black 2006 Mustang Shelby GT Hertz with gold over the top stripes, billet style grille, side scoops, custom hood and lower front splitters, special Shelby wheels, and engine upgrades. There is also a chrome Hertz fender emblem. This GT-H was at the Mustang Club of America Grand Nationals held in 2010 in Bellevue, Washington just outside of Seattle. I came back to the show the second day to get this shot with the hood down.

(11 photos of a 2007 Torch Red Mustang Shelby GT-500 Convertible) Torch Red 2007 Shelby GT 500 convertible with a 5.4L SC 4V V8 engine, 6 speed manual, transmission, and red accented sport seats.
