Interior of a 2008 Shelby GT500 coupe. This car has the dealer installed Accessory SYNC option (66S) for $550 which is a fully integrated, in-vehicle communications and entertainment system that gives drivers voice-activated control of their Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones and digital media players. This system is not compatible with the Navigation System option. After the one-time setup, Accessory SYNC automatically connects phones and players with an in-car microphone and Mustang's sound system. Accessory SYNC has all the capability of SYNC offered on other Ford, Lincoln and Mercury products. The interface for Accessory SYNC uses a dash-mount control as opposed to the steering wheel controls normally found with SYNC. The other difference a customer might notice is the small microphone mounted discreetly on the drivers-side A-pillar.

This is a Performance White 2008 Mustang Shelby GT500 Super Snake coupe dealer modified with Shelby Super Snake custom, GT500KR, and Ford Racing components. The result is a unique Super Snake with over 600hp and 590 ft-lbs of torque. It is also possible to tune up the engine to deliver 725hp. Most of the add-ons are available from either Shelby or Ford, so besides the Shelby factory, dealers, and owners can make their own. The price is about $30K higher than a GT500. As far as value, the Shelby factory upgrade is worth more, but since the parts are available anyone can upgrade a GT500 themselves. Have to be careful about voiding the Ford warrantee, especially with the 725hp upgrade. This White Shelby Super Snake was our featured Attitude Of The Week for August 10th, 2008.
