(from page 4 of the 1997 Collection) Nice front view with the headlamps on. Again, that Pacific Green exterior paint is amazing.

(from page 5 of the 1997 Collection) Rio Red 1997 Mustang SVT Cobra coupe with a black interior and aftermarket BBS wheels. Rio Red was one of two reds offered on the 1997 Mustang. The other was Laser Red. The common miss-spelling for Laser is "Lazer".

(from page 5 of the 1997 Collection) Rio Red 1997 Mustang SVT Cobra coupe, right front view.

(from page 5 of the 1997 Collection) Rio Red 1997 Mustang SVT Cobra coupe, right rear view. "Cobra" is embossed into the rear bumper. You can just make it out in this shot.

(from page 5 of the 1997 Collection) Autumn Orange 1997 Mustang GT coupe with a black cloth interior and chrome wheels. This color is very close to the late model Saleen special order orange called Beryllium. Compare to this 2007 Saleen in Beryllium orange paint. Autumn Orange was only available on the Mustang in 1997 and 1998.

(from page 5 of the 1997 Collection) This is a Moonlight Blue 1997 Mustang Saleen S-351 R coupe. Not sure what the R stands for. Besides the big supercharged 351ci 5.8L V8, this car has; the full Saleen body kit with the Saleen SR rear wing, projector head lights, and clear diamond side marker lights. It has a carbon fiber hood.

(from page 5 of the 1997 Collection) Moonlight Blue 1997 Mustang Saleen S351, right rear view. This Saleen has BBK Jet coated long tube headers, custom 3-inch exhaust with X-pipe, Magnaflow 3-inch high flow cats, Pro Flow mufflers with 3-inch flow tubes and tail pipes. Other items include a Star clutch, adjustable clutch quadrant, an aluminum drive shaft, Saleen rear control arms, Alcon 13-inch slotted brake rotors with 4 piston calipers, Saleen Racecraft Springs and sway bars, and Racecraft nitrogen filled shocks and struts.

(from page 5 of the 1997 Collection) Check out this cool rear end view. From this angle it looks like dual spoilers bolted together.

(from page 5 of the 1997 Collection) A beautiful Deep Violet 1997 Mustang GT coupe with the 4.6 liter V8 engine. With 2,462 Deep Violet Mustangs ordered, this is not the rarest 1997 color. That honor goes to Autumn Orange with 1,519 Mustangs, and Aztec Gold with 1,135 Mustangs.

(from page 6 of the 1997 Collection) Deep Violet 1997 Mustang Saleen S281 coupe with a light gray interior. This is serial number 24 Saleen factory conversion. It has a 4.6 SOHC V8 engine and an automatic transmission.

(from page 6 of the 1997 Collection) Deep Forest Green 1997 Mustang GT coupe with a tan interior. The power train is a 4.6L V8 and an automatic transmission. It has just been washed.

(from page 6 of the 1997 Collection) Autumn Orange 1997 V6 Mustang coupe with a tan colored interior. Autumn Orange is an interesting color which glows in sunlight. This one has stock 15-inch wheels.

(from page 6 of the 1997 Collection) The Autumn Orange paint really glows under this lighting. Check out the rear quarter side glass louvers.

(from page 7 of the 1997 Collection) This is a great custom 1997 Roush Mustang Stage 1 sold at Barrett Jackson. 1997 was the first year Roush Performance did the modifications themselves to the Mustang rather than only dealers and authorized third parties. The Stage 1 offered mainly appearance upgrades but this one received additional upgrades: chip upgrade, performance gauges inside, bored engine, ring and crank upgrades, billet rod upgrades, and performance headers and valve job.

(from page 7 of the 1997 Collection) This view really shows off the Roush side skirts with side exhaust which was part of the 1997 Roush Stage 1 upgrade.
