This Mustang still has it's original 351ci engine. This was our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting 8-17-08. Rick has this story to share, "I rode in the car when it was new. It belonged to a friend of my family. I purchased the car in August of 1977 to drive to college and have driven all over the Southeast until now. The Grande was disassembled and painted by a friend, which turned into a three year process. It was completed two years ago [2006]. I have had it at several local shows and someone will always come up and ask 'What is it?' or tells me 'Ford didn't build a Granada in 1970'. So many experts out there."
(from page 2 of the 1970 Collection) Here is a shot of Rick's 1970 Mustang Grande with a fresh coat of Calypso Coral paint on it.

This was our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting August 22, 2010. This car came from the factory in Grabber Blue. It has a 351ci V8 and an automatic transmission. Frank tells us more, "I have had it since my senior year of High School in 1992. It has come down a long road. It had an '89 302 when I bought it, but it didn't last. I found a '72 Torino with the Cobra Jet Cleveland and C6. It has been warmed .030 over, Weiand intake, Holly 750, Isky valvtrain, Crane rollers, etc, Mach 1 seats, custom console, Grant steering wheel, etc."

(from page 8 of the 1970 Collection) Check out this 1970 Mustang fastback that Dominic Napolitano picked up! Dominic tells us more, "It has a 302 with 3-speed, but not sure if its factory. The car spent most of its life in Texas, but enough time in Michigan to develop a little cancer. I have most of the sheet metal to restore her. Its a Father-Son Project (mostly father, Son is 4). I have a 95 Lightning engine for it and shopping for a T5. Its definitely a 'barn find' - only gave a thousand for her. "
(from page 8 of the 1970 Collection) It looks to be Calypso Coral (a shade of orange) to me. That's if it's a factory color. Doesn't appear to be dented too bad.

(from page 8 of the 1970 Collection) The Mustang rolls into the shop. Dominic checks what's under the paint in a few areas with an orbital sander.
