David writes: "I bought this car from a man in Mustang Oklahoma in 2005. I took it to a body shop and had some minor dents removed and had it painted. It has an upgraded heavy duty T5 transmission, power windows, American Racing Nitro wheels, trunk carpet kit, engine dress up kit, lighted door sill plates, chrome alternator, chrome Monte Carlo bar, chrome export brace, high back reclining bucket seats, Ford Motorsport electronic ignition, Edelbrock aluminum performer intake, Flex-a-lite 6 blade radiator fan, Hooker headers, GT Grant custom steering wheel, Phantom 6 gauge instrument cluster, polished aluminum distributor, Ford racing dipstick, chrome Ford Motorsport valve covers, chrome shock tower caps, headlight grille ornaments, rocker panels, wheel well molding and many more little modifications." Also available for download is a 1024 by 768 pixel wallpaper and a 1500 by 1000 pixel wallpaper of this photo.

It definitely gets lots of looks!"

Jonathan purchased it in West Virginia from a gentleman who purchased in 2001 and never put it on the road. It has a 6-digit DSO and a blank color code. Factory options include the 289ci engine, C-4 automatic transmission, and a full console. The special order color was offered to the public after Ford built one for Playboy Playmate Donna Michele.

Rob shares, "This vehicle was ordered by my wife's grandmother specifically to match the school color where they lived. It has the original dealer installed factory AC. It has recently been restored to original condition and won best of show in its first show this month. I have yet to find another 65 with this color combination and was told it is rare, but since Marty reports don's go back to 65 I do not know how many were made."

(5 photos of a 1965 Dynasty Green Mustang Hardtop) This Dynasty Green 1965 Mustang hardtop is owned by Hayley M. of New York and was our Attitude Of The Week for November 15, 2009. Hayley says, I just purchased from a couple who bought it in Utah 10 years ago. When they got it, several beehives were present in the headlights and engine compartment. They went a little crazy with the color choices under the hood, but retained the original color. All I know about it is what the previous owner knew, which wasn't all that much. While it's not perfect, it's a classic that deserves to be well taken care of, and I intend to do so for many years to come. My only addition has been the pirate flag on the antenna.

(16 photos of a 1965 Blue Mustang Hardtop) Carson Roberts found this 1965 Mustang hardtop in a shed with hay and chickens on it. Here's how it looked after washing it off. Not bad! Carson adds, "The floor pans were a little weak. It was leaking front and back windows seals. It had two rust spots in the floor; the left was because of brake fluid, and the right was because the heater core leaking. The guy I got it from had it for 12 years. The guy before him painted and fixed it up. The car looked good for it being a 25 footer paint job."
