(from page 3 of the 1965 Collection) Twilight Turquoise 1965 Mustang owned by John Papa from Sydney, Australia. John purchased it in July of 2009 in Melbourne. This owner purchased it in December 2007. It was purchased new by Ernest W Alexander in Coral, Florida. John is looking for more information about this Mustang. If you know of anything, write a comment or contact John. This Mustang has the GT options of the front fog lamps, side rocker stripes, and dual exhaust through the rear valance.

(from page 3 of the 1965 Collection) Here are some additional shots of John's Twilight Turquoise 1965 Mustang GT hardtop from the previous owner. The GT has the extra yellow driving lights in the front grille. Under the hood is the big 225hp V8 engine.

(from page 3 of the 1965 Collection) You can see the rear window defroster real well in this shot. As far as I can tell, this was not an option in 1965. The rear window defogger (a blower unit) was a new option on the Mustang in 1968. The rear window defroster (heated wire units) was introduced as an option on the Mustang in 1971.

(from page 6 of the 1965 Collection) Twilight Turquoise 1965 T-5 hardtop owned by Julien S from France! This was our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting September 12, 2010. The T-5 was name for the Mustang as it was sold in Germany. This one has a 200ci 6-cylinder engine and a manual transmission.

(from page 6 of the 1965 Collection) Julien's Twilight Turquoise 1965 T-5 hardtop is void of all "Mustang" wording. It has T-5 emblems on the front fenders. There is a little 65 hardtop on the dash.

(from page 12 of the 1965 Collection) Twilight Turquoise 1965 Mustang GT fastback owned by Paul Sewell from Wilmington, Delaware. It has the A-code 289ci V8 4-barrel engine and a manual transmission. Paul wonders, "Built at Metuchen, NJ plant on 5/28/65. Could this be one of the first of the GTs? IT was built one month after they started offering the GT package."

(from page 12 of the 1965 Collection) Left rear view of Paul's, Twilight Turquoise 1965 Mustang GT fastback. Awesome.

(from page 16 of the 1965 Collection) There is an incredible 40,964 miles on this Twilight Turquoise (color code 5) 1965 Mustang fastback. This photo shows what Twilight Turquoise should look like, its needs a bit of work but the color is exceptional. This car has a 200hp at 440rpm, 289 cubic inch, 2 barrel V8. The door data tag reads 63A fastback body style, 5 Twilight Turquoise exterior color, 76 black interior trim, 21A assembled on January 21, 1965, 15 ordered in the Newark area, 6 3.50:1 rear axle ratio, and 6 dual range C4 automatic transmission.

(from page 18 of the 1965 Collection) Repainted Twilight Turquoise 1965 Mustang fastback with a 225hp (at 4800rpm), 289 cubic inch, 4 barrel, V8 engine. The original Twilight turquoise should have a hint of green in it which is not visible in direct sun. Some of the other photos of this set show the color a bit better.
