Lime Green 1968 Mustang Shelby GT-500KR with the original GT-350/500 stamped steel mag-style hubcaps. KR stands for "King of the Road" which used the new 400hp, 482ci, Cobra Jet V8 engine.

Dark Green 1968 Mustang Shelby GT-500KR fastback with a 400hp, 428ci, 4 barrel, Cobra Jet V8 engine. Dark Green was the Shelby name for Highland Green paint offered on the normal 1968 Mustang. The 1968 Shelby has custom front fascia, vented hood, side scoops, and rear quarter panel scoops. These came stock with the roll bar.

The rear view of these cars are as cool as the front. It has a ducktail spoiler which wraps around to the rear fenders and chrome dual exhaust cut-outs in the rear valance.

I just found this photo that I took a year ago of a Dark Green 1968 Mustang Shelby GT500 King of the Road convertible with 10 spoke Shelby wheels, white side stripes, Shelby front fascia with fog lamps, side scoops, rear wing, vented hood, and 428ci super jet V8 engine. This GT500KR is our Attitude Of The Week for the week starting December 11th, 2011.
