The 1968, Mustang, Shelby, S-code, 360hp, 427 cubic inch, 4 barrel, V8 engine. The 1968 S-code Shelby engine could be a 390ci V8 or 427ci V8 early in production, or a 428ci V8 Police Interceptor later in production.

The 1968 Shelby GT-500 came with either the 428ci V8 R-code 335hp or S-code 360hp Police Interceptor engine. This is the S-code V8 Police Interceptor!

Early 1968 Shelby GT500's came with the 360ci 4V V8, later the 428ci 4V V8, although you could optionally get the 427ci 4V V8. Not sure which this is.
