It's actually two-tone, orange over black. Check out the yellow pinstripe on the vinyl body molding which circles the entire car. In 1980 the Mustang Cobra was redesigned to have a 3 slot grille with integrated front spoiler, rear facing non-functional hood scoop, and rear spoiler.

Bill tells us, "I am the 2nd owner and have had the my Cobra GT-R for less than a year. I purchased it with 6,000 original miles. The car was modified by Ford to honor their 2004 Mustang GT-R shown at the auto show. It was outfitted with Ford racing internals, wheels, tires, and interior."
