Zinc Yellow was only available in the spring of 2000 in the form of a special GT package for an additional $995. Besides the special paint, this package added a different hood, different side scoops, special 17x8 inch five spoke wheels, black side stripes, and black rear embossed bumper Mustang lettering.

With its Bright Clearcoat Zinc Yellow paint, dark charcoal leather interior, black convertible roof, GT Spring Feature Edition factory markings & throaty exhaust sound, this 2000 Mustang GT convertible is a head turner wherever it's driven. A 4.6L V8 EFI is complimented with a 5 speed manual transmission. There is a Mach 460 AM/FM stereo/CD/cassette sound system with integrated digital clock to entertain you in the articulated sport bucket seats & full leather interior. The Mach 460 Sound System has 460 watts of peak power, parametrically equalized amplifier, two subwoofer amplifiers, four 5.5x7.5 inch subwoofer speakers and four mid range tweeters. Power surrounds this GT (door locks, windows, driver's seat, mirrors, convertible top, decklid & rack & pinion steering). This car was for sale by John on the old 2000MustangGT.com.

The 2000 Spring Feature special Mustang features two black hood stripes with GT lettering, black Mustang rear bumper decal inserts, 35th Anniversary hood & side scoops, and 17x8 inch 5-spoke wheels. They where available in Performance Red, Black, Silver, Crystal White, and Zinc Yellow. 3091 Spring Editions were built.

(8 photos of a 2003 Zinc Yellow Mach 1 Mustang Coupe) Zinc Yellow 2003 Mach 1 Mustang coupe owned by Robert VanAckooy from Hyde Park, New York. Robert tells us more, "I had someone do a search in May of 2009, and they found this Mach 1 in New Jersey with just over 8,000 miles. This was done through a service station/used car dealer where I have serviced my cars over the past two years. They went down to inspect the Mach 1 and brought it back for me. The car is mint. Like new inside and out. It was like getting a brand new Mach 1, but at a considerable savings. I put over 2,500 miles on the car from June to December. Now, it spends most of the winter in a garage - only coming out on days when the roads are clear of snow and salt. This is my second Mach 1. I had a 1973 Mach 1 when I was young."

I have never been able to leave well enough alone, so my 2003 Zinc Yellow Mustang GT Convertible is now a 2003 Zinc Yellow Mustang GT Convertible MACH 1. She has over four pages of well placed modification done, including a Zex wet kit nitrous setup along with other mods to the powertrain. She is pushing over 400 hp!"

Ritchie tells us more, "I bought the car about 2 months ago after a long search looking at many cars for sale. Most of them were overpriced for the condition they were in. This one was a great price, awesome condition, and low miles! Mods I have done so far include: Spectre Racing air filter, C&L 82mm CAI, BBK Performance 75mm throttle body, C&L upper intake plenum, Performance Automatics shift kit, SR Performance drilled and slotted brake rotors w/ceramic-carbon pads, American Muscle chrome Bullitt 17x9" and 17x10.5" wheels, Nitto NT555 17x35x275 and 17x40x315 tires, and Flowmaster 2-1/2" catback dual exhaust w/series 40 mufflers and 3" tips."
