(from page 3 of the 1965 Collection) You can see the rear window defroster real well in this shot. As far as I can tell, this was not an option in 1965. The rear window defogger (a blower unit) was a new option on the Mustang in 1968. The rear window defroster (heated wire units) was introduced as an option on the Mustang in 1971.

(from page 3 of the 1965 Collection) This is a numbers matching 289ci 255hp V8 engine. It has aftermarket intake, carb, heads, and valve covers.

(from page 3 of the 1965 Collection) This car has the optional Rally Pac gauges on the steering column. It has a tach on the left side and a clock on the right.

(from page 6 of the 1965 Collection) Twilight Turquoise 1965 T-5 hardtop owned by Julien S from France! This was our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting September 12, 2010. (from page 6 of the 1965 Collection) Julien's Twilight Turquoise 1965 T-5 hardtop is void of all "Mustang" wording. It has T-5 emblems on the front fenders. There is a little 65 hardtop on the dash.

(from page 7 of the 1965 Collection) These were the original hub caps that came with the T-5. They have the Mustang letters removed as well.

(from page 7 of the 1965 Collection) The center cap of the steering wheel has no Mustang letters.

(from page 7 of the 1965 Collection) Check out the metric speedometer. It's marked out in km/hr instead of mile/hr. The ignition switch in the bottom of the photo is not used. A steering column locking version is installed below it on the steering column.
