This is a new color for the 2012 Mustang. Its Lava Red and its on a 2012 Mustang V6 coupe with Pony package which includes these 18 inch Polished Aluminum wheel upgrade. This car is just down the street from me in Lynnwood, Washington. And of course its raining.

Red Race 2012 Mustang V6 coupe with 17 inch machined aluminum wheels with painted pockets and black Mustang side stripe. Although these wheels come standard with the premium optioned V6 package the Red Race exterior paint is an extra cost option.

lava Red 2012 Mustang coupe owned by Robert M. Nix. It has the 3.7L 305hp V6 engine and an automatic transmission. Robert adds, "Ordered from the Ford Mustang website on 7 March 2011. Took delivery on June 11, 2011. Additional equipment ordered were the HID headlight and security system, 2012 model year premium pony package, 3.31 rear gears and comfort package. This may be the only 2012 Mustang in this particular configuration of exterior color, interior and above listed options, primarily due to the scarcity of the Lava Red metallic exterior paint. HID headlights were an option for 2012 Mustangs, not standard equipment."
